Leah loved Valentine's Day. She loved how much everyone showed they care for each other. She loved how not only was Sam the perfect boyfriend always, but how he somehow seemed to be just a little bit better that day. She loved how he sent her 25 flower grams while everyone else only got one. She loved the envious looks she'd get from all the girls as she walked hand in hand down the halls with Sam. She loved that every Valentine's Day, he'd surprise her with something amazing. She loved how he would take her out to Port Angeles and show her off to the world as his girlfriend. She loved Sam.

Leah hates Valentine's Day. She hates how much more love there is on this day than any other. She hates that Sam is no longer hers. She hates that while everyone is getting flower grams from their special someones, she doesn't get any. She hates the people who stop to kiss in the halls before class. She hates that everyone is making special plans to go out and get dressed up. She hates that she's no longer Sam's girlfriend. She still loves Sam.
