A/N: So I found myself becoming addicted to the television show White Collar, which is pretty shocking since I usually dislike criminal drama television shows with the strongest of passions. But this show has it all a smoking hot ex con man in cahoots with the FBI, crimes, and art, with lots of humor, and a great story line that has you changing disk after disk as quick as you can. So in other words, yes I bought both seasons available and impatiently awaiting for the third season to hit shelves.
But to make a really long authors note short Drabbles of a Con is where I will be keeping the drabbles for things that are White Collar related, unless I come up with a solid story line this is where they will go.
And right now, here is my first ever White Collar AU drabble. based off of the Season 2 Summer Finale "Point Blank" where Mozzie gets shot. I really hope you all enjoy!
Summary: After being shot, Mozzie finds himself warming up just a little bit to a certain suit that helped Neal save his life.
If there was one thing Neal Caffrey's best friend and partner and crime did not like was Federal Agents. Sadly, Neal's best friend Mozzie finds them coming into his life more often as of recently and for the first time he started seeing things from the other side.
After Neal went into cahoots with the suits, Mozzie ended up injured when he was on a job; attempting to protect Neal, to figure things out...things about the music box. He was meeting with someone, and some man came out and shot him.
If it wasn't for Neal and his fed friend Peter...he wouldn't even be alive right now. Mozzie, he still doesn't like Federal Agents, they still make his stomach very queezy, like hospitals-but what Agent Burke has been doing for Neal and for him-he was starting to like Peter, like, but not trust...but for someone like Mozzie that was a start.
So when Agent Peter Burke stopped by his hospital room one afternoon; alone, Mozzie wasn't surprised, he just continued reading his book.
"and for what do I ow this pleasure Mr. Suit?" he questioned without looking up.
Peter smirked; holding a bag. "You don't think you want to tell me how this got onto my desk?" Peter replied; pulling out a black marble coffee mug with the words number one suit on it.
Mozzie looked up from the novel he was reading and glanced at Peter.
"Write your injuries in dust, your benefits in marble." was his only reply as he adjusted his glasses and started to once again read his book. Mozzie wouldn't admit it in so many words, but Agent Peter Burke is a pretty good benefit in his life and Neal's. He doesn't trust him...but maybe he could.
A/N: So that was my first time ever writing anything White Collar related. I cried so hard the moment where Mozzie got shot. Mozzie instantly made his way into my heart and becoming a forever favorite, and when it happened I just couldn't stop the tears from falling down my face. My heart seriously broke. I think that was my total breaking point with the show, that and seeing Neal holding Fowler at gun point piratically breaking apart and asking for answers. That whole entire episode was very emotional for me. But the one thing I did notice was Mozzie becoming somewhat more comfortable with Peter, which made me want to write this, it's AU because it doesn't exactly go with the entire summary of what happened in the episode, but I just thought the idea was kind of cute!
