I'm not going to stop seeing Edward, so just—

Screeching in frustration I slashed out my writing, viciously scrunching up the paper and tossing it over my shoulder. I knew Jake was hurt and upset—I felt just as furious and betrayed as he did.
Only I was too guilt-ridden to stay mad for very long.
