Summary: Funny how a girl playing a bittersweet melody in the park can suddenly make him feel better.
How could she have betrayed him?
With his arch nemesis none of the less. He knows quite well that slightly older blonde haired man will do anything to gain the advantage over him.
He has been doing it since they were children. Always competing with him at everything. He supposes that it was only natural that he eventually take his girlfriend away from him.
His sapphire blue silently glances at the dimly lit park.
He knows that all of the children probably have left to go home by now the moment that twilight touch the day's blue skies. He supposes the only people that would have remain our couples walking the paths of the park and a possible teenager or two.
He frowns lightly as lights up the thin cigarettes with a lighter before putting the. For a moment he thought that he could hear music.
Not necessary the type of music that you hear when a person has the music up loud. Instead this is the type of music his step mother generally listens to, although it only seems to be one instrument. A violin perhaps?
He instantly cocks his head towards the right noticing that is generally where the music is coming from. He can see a woman playing probably in her late teens. No older than him at the very least and he was only twenty.
Golden locks flowing down her shoulders. He silently recognizes that she was dress in the school uniform for Tenebrae University. For a minute he thought he saw a tear stream down her face.
He is somewhat surprise at the melody that she is playing. It seems sad to him, or at the very least bittersweet.
Somehow he couldn't help but to connect to this girl and the music she is playing. It was almost like she is feeling the same thing as him, and was simply expressing it through her music.
He slightly notice her eyes widden probably noticing that she was being watched, and he did notice it was a vibrant shade of violet blue.
"I'm sorry," she apologizes. " I didn't know that anyone was here."
He nods he supposes in an odd way it was of him somewhat accepting her apology. Not like she has anything to be sorry for. "The song you were playing, it was beautiful."
She smiles at the compliment. He could have sworn that he saw a soft blush glowing on her cheeks. "Thank you."
"What song you were playing?" he question politely.
"Sonmus," she replies with a soft smile.
"Do you mind playing it again for me?" he questions.
A soft bright smile spread across her lips as she moves to play the violin again. Despite the fact the song was still sad. He couldn't help but to feel happy and feel all of his sadness and anger from earlier drain away, and she seems a bit happier as well.
For the moment he simply allows himself to get drown in the bittersweet song, and a part of him couldn't help but to wonder if she and her music can heal all of the wounds on his soul. He silently watches as the blonde finish up her beautiful bittersweet song.
Perhaps he can heal the wounds on her soul as well.
"What's your name?" he questions softly.
"Stella," she replies. "Stella Fleuret. And yours?"
"Noctis Caelum," she smiles.
Perhaps this is a start of something beautiful. He's not saying that he is in love with her or anything because he is the hardly the type that believes in love at first sight. Not to mention he still possesses strong feelings for his ex girlfriend.
But this could be the start of something beautiful.
