The day is swiftly approaching
I fear that I have begun to lose this inner struggle
This demon, my soul it has begun to encroach
A power churns deep within me
The key to what some have called, my glorious destiny
Yet I cannot agree
His servant, he came and a message he did deliver
Along with a gift and oh how I shiver
At the thought of what I will someday become
For the day shall surely come
A thousand dark moons
A thousand sleepless nights
Filled to the brim with ghoulish frights
I cannot find the light
I feel so cold inside
Oh how often I have cried
For the weight of this world, it does encumber my soul
I fear that I shall surely lose control
And unleash an unspeakable evil upon this realm of mortals
I am the Gem, I am the portal
He comes to claim, he comes to sire
The end of all things mortal.
