Skyler and Pit Valentines Day Surprise
Skyler was getting ready for the Valentine's Day Ball. Instead of her normal light blue and white dress she wore a stunning sky blue gown that brought out the pink in her cheeks and her sapphire eyes. She picked up a diamond-studded crown and placed it on her head. She smiled as she put on a silver necklace that Pit had given her.
She sighed happily. Pit was the only one that loved her for her princess ways. They had even beaten Luigi and Peach in the Double Mario Kart Races. She would never forget when and how they had met...
(Flashback)
Pit was talking to Peach when Skyler and Luigi walked up.
Peach smiled. "Hi Luigi! Skyler this is Pit."
"How do you do?" Pit said with a smile and a tip of the hat. He kissed her hand. "Tis a pleasure."
Skyler blushed. "The pleasure's mine." 'Talk about charming!'
Luigi and Peach winked at each other and grinned. They left the couple alone. (In other words, it was a set up!)
They had teamed up and won the doubles tournament with flying colors. After that things just soared between them.
(End flashback)
Skyler was startled by a knock. She opened her door and found Parakarry with a bouquet of different colored roses tied together with a yellow ribbon with a note. "Thanks Parakarry!"
He smiled. "They're not from me Princess." He flew away.
Skyler closed the door and read the note.
My Dearest Skyler
These roses have no comparison to your beauty. I love you. Love, Pit
Skyler giggled and put them in a vase. Their sweet scent reminded her of her own beloved prince. She then had a good feeling for some reason like something was going to happen. (Foreshadowing!)
Skyler looked at the clock. 'Oh perfect I'm freakin' late!' she thought as she dashed out.
Later...
Skyler arrived at Peach and Luigi's Castle. She went into the ballroom.
Pit wasn't there.
Madison and Shulk walked over to her. "Hi Skyler."
"Hi guys! How was the honeymoon?" Skyler asked.
"Great! Isle Delfino was beautiful. It would have been perfect if Meowser hadn't of taken the Shine Sprites from the tower and ruined the vacation," Madison sighed.
"But it ended well," Shulk said. He looked like he was keeping a secret.
"Where's Pit?" she asked.
Shulk grinned a little. "Oh he's coming. He has something special planned for you Skyler that I think you'll like."
Madison smiled. "We're not telling but it's a doosy!"
An hour later a song played. It was a romantic waltz.
Pit came in and bowed before Skyler. He was wearing a black tux . "Would you like to dance?"
"I'd love to," she replied.
They waltzed beautifully and it wasn't until it ended that she noticed that they were the only ones on the floor.
Pit sank down to one knee. He opened up a ring box with a loving smile. "Skyler Star will you marry me?"
Skyler was speechless! She grinned. "What do you think? Of course I will you crazy, wonderful..." She kissed him passionately.
The crowd roared with applause as they declared their love for all to see.
