1. Chapter 1

Dear Reader,

Before you begin and make any unnecessary commitments, the following story is not the fairy tale that many believe to be the true story of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. Oh no.

The true story has been twisted and selectively edited over time – so that parents could sleep, assured that their darling children would not wake up screaming after experiencing vivid, terrifying nightmares based on the unfortunate true nature of the tale that the Brothers Grimm first committed to paper.

So I beg of you, before you begin to read this manuscript of utter woe and misery, it should never find its way into the hands of anybody who is utterly obsessed with the tale that the Brothers Grimm had to convolute to suit their politically correct purposes.
