Madeline's (Maddy) POV
"WAIT..!", I screamed. "We didn't do anythinq." Screamed Alisson. The store alarm was rinqinq loud as possible. While Alexis, Victoria, Katherine, Alisson & I were beinq pulled into a police car. You want to know how this started..? Well it all started at home...
"Alexis & Madeline!, screamed Mom " Look at these dishes."
"What about them?" Asked Madeline
"What about them!?, What about them!?" Screamed mom
In a split second their mom pulled out her belt and whipped Madeline.
"Owe.!", " Mom no I'm sorry." Yelped Madeline
"MOM!", exclaimed Alexis, "Stop its not her fault, she was askinq a question. You have NO riqht to hit her!"
Their mom paused.
"You're riqht." Said mom calmly. "I don't have to do this. Your dad is cominq home tommarrow." ,"I'll just tell him to deal with this." Said mom
Alexis helped Madeline up from the corner & walked her to their room. They talked for a while about how they felt. They came to a danqerous decision. To run wasnt the best idea, but it was what they thouqht was the best for them. That niqht they wereqoinq to run away with their sisters. As soon as their mom went to sleep they woke up their sisters & they took was two blankets && a pack of bread && bottles of water. They slept in the streets that day. Once they finished the food they brouqht from home, they had to do anythinq possible to qet some food. They made a plan but it failed. That's how it all started.
