The untold story of Mami
Mami-she was a magical girl a.k.a. a witch hunter. Today, she was going to show Sayaka and Madoka how being a magical girl was done-that was IF they chose to be magical girls and made a wish and a contract with Kyubey. "Make sure you making a very important wish-unlike the one I made." Mami always thought her wish was a waste. When her family was in a car crash she used her wish, "Save me." Ever since, she's been a magical girl. Currently, she was battling a witch named Charlotte, which even though Mami fought many witches in the past, this witch was extremely hard to fight against. Mami used her attack using her weapon-a riffle, to attack it. The witch dodged the attack and boom, it came and tried to eat Mami.
Eventually, the witch succeeded and the two other girls stood there hopelessly, shaking from what they just saw. Mami's soul gem, which lay on the ground, changed from a foggy color of yellow to pitch black.
Then, eventually Homura defeated the witch, but used the grief seed for herself-she needed to restore her magic-and not Mami. Following that, the three left the building, all thinking Mami was dead.
But, even though Mami was dead, her wish came and saved her, 'Save me.' So after everyone left, her soul gem returned to its normal shade of yellow and changed into yellow sparkles and returned to Mami. Mami opened her eyes, in amazement and shock. 'Why or how was she alive?' She looked around the room of the building in search for her soul gem. After an hour of looking, she couldn't find her soul gem anywhere-this could only mean 1 thing, her contract with Kyubey ended, and she could no longer be a magical girl. She could finally be free from hunting witches and live a normal life. "I should go tell the others that I'm alive." Mami said thinking aloud, but she stopped in her tracks. If Kyubey knew she was alive, their contract would be renewed for sure by Kyubey and then she would have to risk her life again. Maybe, this was a second chance- as if she never became a magical girl. But she wondered why she was alive now compared to dead-which she was less than 5 minutes ago. Then the only answer came to her- it must have been her wish that she thought was stupid, useless and a bad wish. Maybe, her wish was not that bad after all.
Mami went outside and breathed the fresh outdoor air and started to head home and stopped again-she had to continue to make Kyubey think she was dead and she knew that Kyubey would think that IF for some reason she did live, he would go to Mami's house. So this meant one thing for Mami-She would have to pretend that she was dead, and by doing so she would have to be a completely different person.
