Scorpius carried his belongings into our dorm. I sat reading, pretending to ignore him as he dragged his suitcase beside his new bed. I heard that Scorpius got into a huge fight in his own dorm and was forced to move rooms. I never had anything to do with Scorpius until he moved into my dorm; I guess that's when it all started.

Uncle Ron always had something to say about the Malfoys but Dad never did. I think he didn't want me to have the same rivalry with Scorpius that he had with Draco Malfoy. But Scorpius and I never spoke until that day. It was during my fourth year when he moved. I can't say I was happy about it, I always liked having three people in my dorm and I knew that things would become awkward if another moved in.

It was late that night when I was on my way back from the library that I finally really met Scorpius. I approached the Ravenclaw portrait.

"How many bricks does it take to complete a building made of bricks?" She smirked because she knew that I suck at riddles.

I took a deep breath closed my eyes and exhaled "Ssshhhhit…"

"Need some help?" A voice said behind me. I turned around to see Scorpius. He took a step forward and the portrait repeated the riddle.

"Just one brick. The last one," He said

"Well reasoned," The portrait opened.

Scorpius turned to me and laughed, I laughed too. We both made our way to our dorm, the others had gone to bed already. Scorpius went to bed too. I couldn't sleep. In the end I got up and sat in the empty Ravenclaw common room.

I was starting to feel annoyed. I looked like an idiot in front of Scorpius, he was by far the most talented person in fouth year. In first year everyone called him names for being the son of a former death-eater. That is until he became the best in every class.

I sat for about two hours staring into the crackling fire place.

"What in Merlin's name are you doing, Albus?" Scorpius yawned, walked over and sat in the chair next to mine. I felt my face get extremely hot.

"I couldn't sleep, you too?"

Scorpius nodded and sat down next to me

"It's strange that we never talked before, maybe it's because of our dads, you know…"

"Yeah I guess so. Did your dad, like, full on warn you about me?" I laughed loudly but then shut up quickly because I remembered what time it was.

"Yeah you should have seen him," Scorpius put on a funny voice "Stay away from that Potter-Weasley boy will you? He'll be just like his father, nothing but trouble!"

We both burst out into laughter until Scorpius stopped, "He was disappointed when I was sorted into Ravenclaw. But I think a little part of him was relieved, he doesn't want me to end up like him you know?"

"Yeah… He must be so proud of you" I smiled

"What's it like having a father like Harry?" He asked

I didn't know what to say.

"He's a great dad. Everyone automatically gets excited when they find out who I am. But sometimes it's frustrating because I'm pretty basic compared to him."

"I don't think you're basic. Ever since first year I always looked up to you." Scorpius whispered

My face was beginning to burn. I got scared. I felt like throwing up.

"I need to go."

I stood up and ran off to bed. I must have already been asleep when Scorpius finally went to bed.

That was the first chapter! Should I continue? This is my first attempt at a Scorpius/Albus so let me know :)
