It's a beautiful morning... The sun is shining and- "Cyndaquil use ember!" Says Zero. "Froakie! Use your Mimic!" Shouts Striker. "Like they say, fight fire with fire! Cyndaquil, Flamethrower!" Cyndaquil bursts out a fire beam, overwhelming Froakie's Ember. Froakie faints. "Froakie! Hmmm... Abyss, let's go!" Striker sends out an Eevee... But it looks like it isn't normal. Eevee automaticly evolves into Vaporeon. "How'd it do that? Doesn't your 'Abyss' need a water stone for that? "My Abyss is special. It's not like other Eevee... Watch and learn..." Striker says. Zero notices he's using Telepathy with his Eevee. Zero thinks that He must have trained hard with the Eeevee. "Ok, Cyndaquil quick attack go!" The Vaporeon evolves into an Umbreon. The Quick Attack had no effect. "My Eevee got into an experiment, so it can evolve at will!" "What!? Grr... He's skilled... " The Umbreon changed to Vaporeon again. Vaporeon used an Aqua jet, and cyndaquil faints. "Treecko go!" The battle continues
After a few minutes into the battle, Zero notices Treecko's HP is at 10%. He also notices that Abyss's HP Gauge is at 75%. "Treecko... I... Don't... No... You and me together... Will beat the Pokemon League!" Treecko starts to glow. "This can't be!" Striker says. Treecko evolves into a Grovyle. "Cool... Ok, Tree- No, Grovyle! Use your Leaf Blade 100% Attack!" Abyss's HP Gauge goes from 75% to 0%. A Holographic sign in the middle of the arena says "Zero has beat the Gym Leader!" Striker gives Zero the X Badge. "Looks like you beat me, Zero. Hm, I have an idea. May I join you on your journey?" "Yea, sure! The more the merrier!" While Zero and Striker head on their way to the next town, someone appears in front of them. She says her name is Icess. Striker whispers in Zero's ear. "She's hoooooot..." Zero mutters some words that doesn't seem so pleasent. "Hey, are you Striker?" "U-U-Um, yea...?" Striker speaks nervously in front of Icess.
"Then I challenge you!" "Ok, I'm ready for a fight!" "Striker... Watch out, she comes from Kalos, like yourself..." Zero Says. "How do YOU know?" "Just begin the battle..." "Ok, I choose you Sylveon!" Sylveon comes out of Icess's Pokeball. "That's Sylveon.. The only Pokemon Abyss can't evolve into... "Let's go Froakie!" "Sylveon, use your Hyperbeam!" "Froakie, Aqua Jet to dodge!" "Not so fast! Sylveon, twirl around and use your Hyperbeam!" "Agh! Froakie!" Froakie's HP Gauge goes to 0%. "Ok, let's go Eevee!" Eevee evolves into Leafeon. Leafeon camoflauges in the grass. "Won't work! Sylveon, teleport to Leafeon! Then finish it with another Hyperbeam!" Sylveon teleports to Leafeon, and Leafeon's HP Gauge hits 0%.
"You don't stand a CHANCE against the Kashimoto family!" Icess shouts. Striker knew that name from somewhere. "It's my turn Icess!" Zero finally says.
