Chapter 1: Eliminated
*Taki's Pov*
"Damn! I can't believe it! Eliminated in the first round!" My name is Taki Shunsuke and I am currently in the middle of the very first Bell Liberty School MVP Battle, hosted by the chairman himself! Well, at least I was until I was eliminated in the first round. Basically, the winner gets a wish granted by the chairman. Me and my friends are rooting for one of my friends, Ito Keita. He was asked by the vice chairman to drop out of the school, but we won't let that happen. The chairman is hosting this MVP battle to give Keita a chance. Cool right? The groups are in pairs so it's Keita and his best friend Endo Kazuki and then me and some freak named Naruse Yukihiko who is in love with Keita. All he ever talks about is Keita and he calls him Honey! It kind of pisses me off.
"I hope my Honey is doing alright…" I grumbled under my breath, but smiled up at him and reassured him it would all be fine. I have to say, I'm a really casual guy. I'm not someone who would easily be angered or upset, and people probably see me as someone who easy to get along with. But I'm really like that on the inside. On the inside, I always have a hard time getting use to people and it's hard for me to get along with them. But Keita is different. Keita has everything he could ever want and more. He probably just doesn't realize it. He's not a guy that would ever get full of himself, so it's easy to spoil him without worrying about his ego. Honestly, I have always been real jealous of Keita. He has a good best friend, a good welcoming committee, a great school to go to, a chairman who favors him and even a guy who's head over heels in love with him!
Of course, I guess you have to feel sorry for Naruse too. Keita doesn't pay any attention to the guy. And it creeps people out all the time. That's why Naruse only has a few good friends. Because most guys don't want to go anywhere near him. "Shunsuke? What's wrong?" I looked up. I guess I was zoning out because Naruse was staring at me like I was insane. "Huh? Oh sorry, guess I zoned out." He gave me a weird look, but we then continued on our way back. We were eliminated, so that meant it was over for us, right? We couldn't do any more, so we made our way back to where Shinomiya and Iwai-san were. As we headed there, I could only wonder where Keita was and how he was doing. "I wonder where Honey is." I heard Naruse say. Damn it. If only I could be Keita, I thought. Then I could have everything I've ever wanted…
