Wh-Where... Am I?
I can't see...
Don't tell me... I died?
No, no, that's obviously impossible. I-I think I can hear some thing:
"Woah, what's wrong with the albino kid? Helllloooo? Whitey, are you still with us?"
Albino?! I'd kick your face in if knew where to aim!
"H-Hey, I think he's hurt!"
Yeah, no shit Sherlock. Great, I'm surrounded by more fools.
"Calm down, he's just unconscious - Whaa!"
"What?! What's wrong?"
"He's been shot! Look!"
... I got shot?... Yeah, I suppose that makes sense...
"Don't tell me... He's dead?!"
Surprisingly not. As if I'd ever let that happen. Come on body, move! I ain't dead yet!
"Let's take him to hospital. They'll know what to do, right?"
Bad. Bad. Extremely bad. Don't these brats have any common sense?
"Idiot! If we do that we will be the prime suspects for shooting this guy!"
Damn it, my hearing's becoming muffled...
"What do we do then? We can't just leave him."
Why can't you? Damit! I need to move!
"Let's take him to Shinra! He can take whitey here, and we'll be off the hook!"
Typical. Just dump me with anyone you can, huh?
"O-okay..."
Ugh...This is gonna be one heck of a day.
Prologue End
A familiar pale body lay motionless on a clear solid table tainted with crimson blood stains. The room was completely covered in strange bottles and many different vile concoctions. A man wearing a pure white lab coat stood next to the seemingly dead body beside him, a smile on his young face.
"Well then, I think we can begin the operation now, Celty" he smiled, looking over to his black suited associate.
She wore a yellow motorcycle helmet over her head, despite being indoors. But nothing was said back to the 'professor'.
Instead, the sound of many buttons typing could be heard.
"Injecting anaesthetic now"
A sharp needle was pushed into the still body, and it twitched slightly. A few more minutes and the injection would kick in.
"Ok, we can begin"
As the shiny scalpel inched closer to the skin, the body twitched again.
"But the anaesthetic should be working now...?"
The cutting device continued towards the skin, and literally centimetres before contact, a hand reached around and gripped tightly onto the professor's arm. The pale man jumped up from his metal coffin and looked around with blood thirsty eyes.
"And just what the hell do you think you're doing?"
The man staggered back in utter shock.
"Wahhhhh!"
Crash.
Surgery equipment fell onto the icey floor along with the shocked surgeon.
"I think you should learn some manners, sir" Accelerator said smiling sarcastically, actually feeling extremely pissed off.
"Wow! The anaesthetic didn't even effect you? Does that mean... you're like Celty?!"
The man looked ecstatic having found such a scientific marvel. The shady woman that was with him had her phone out and was typing at light speed.
When she lifted the phone up it read:
"Is it true?! Are you like me? Not a normal human?"
Accelerator, feeling incredibly irritated, glanced over the woman being slightly confused.
Like this brat? I don't sense any vectors around her... Is she something else?
"Well, I don't know what you are, but I can certainly say I'm not human"
That's right. I'm no human. I'm a monster.
Celty looked over to her still fascinated comrade and began typing on her old phone again.
"I mean, are you like this:"
Celty lifted her helmet slowly above where her head should be, revealing the empty space where hers had once been. Even Accelerator was momentarily stunned, but not for long enough.
"Well as you can see, girlie, I still have my head" a huge grin spread across his pale face and froze there.
"But if you want, I can show you what type of monster I am."
