Chapter One: The New TARDIS

"Doctor, I thought you said your TARDIS was colourful and bright?" She ran her hand up twisting pole leading to all the controls and flashing dark buttons.

"It was, Ingrid I'm sorry I promised you so much more." He looked up, his eyes filled with sorrow, she was grey. "What happened to you? You were dazzling."

"Well at least now we have more new rooms to get a look at now! Let's have a look shall we?" He grabbed Ingrid's hand and whisked her away towards the multiple rooms he had never seen yet.

They both ran around opening and closing doors simultaneously. Ingrid was getting more and more excited as she opened door after door, the Doctor was just disappointed. What happened to his beloved TARDIS? The Doctor started to think, there has to be something wrong. There's something in the TARDIS that wasn't before that is causing this.

"Hey Doctor! This door won't budge!"

He slowly turned towards the old cracked door. If the TARDIS was fixing itself why was this door so banged up? "Don't try to open that door!" The doctor bellowed down the corridor. He knew that behind that door was something huge. There has to be, it was affecting the TARDIS. He ran straight over to Ingrid and started to look the door over.

"What are you doing? Just sonic it. You can do that right?" Ingrid was tracing the outside of the door with her fingers and feeling over a little hole.

"Back away from the door Ingrid! Don't touch it, don't even look at it! I will see what's behind it later tonight, but I want you coming nowhere near this door, do I make myself clear?" He was looking Ingrid right in the eyes; he had never been more serious about something with one of his companions. "Now I want you to go home, I will not be leaving you, just go be with your family."

"What could be behind that door that is so dangerous? I could handle it! Just let me stay." Her black long hair flew gently around, and tears were just about to stream down her face. They both turned towards the door in fear. For the first time, the Doctor was truly scared.

What created that gust of wind? No doors were open. There was no sound. There was only the little hole in the door.

The doctor slowly moved his eye over the hole to look inside, the walls were white and so was the floor. The room was empty though. Except for one thing, a mirror.
