Lindsay P.O.V
After ditching Jessica, I got my lunch and sat down at a table by myself. I noticed a group of people gathered at a table together and looked contently at a boys face. I t was too perfect to be human. A girl came and sat down across from me.
"Hi," The girl muttered glancing at me before going back to her book. The book's title was 100 Ways To Kill A Vampire.
"Strange cover," I said quietly to myself. The girl apparently heard what I said and I looked down at my plate, my face burning. I picked at my food but didn't eat anything.
She looked at me like I was a vampire. She then gave me a small smile and introduced herself.
"I'm Raven," She stuck her hand out for me to shake.
"I'm Lindsay," I stuck my hand out and shook her hand. Raven looked at my wrist and her eyes grew wide.
"You're wrist. What happened?" Raven asked when my sleeve pulled up and blood dripped on the table.
"Why would you care?" I asked pulling back my arm. In Nashville I was as good as invisible to everyone.
"I can tell that it's bothering you," Okay, seriously I don't need someone looking after me. I live in the freaking woods for God's sake.
I sighed heavily, picked up my tray and threw it away. I walked away looking at the Cullen's. They were looking back at me, muttering. I quickened my pace and was out side in a heart beat.
I ditched school and ran face-to-face with another girl.
