Chapter one: when we first started
Normal POV:
Students gawked as they saw Mikan and Natsume …. HOLDING HANDS! Yes, it was quite a shock for everyone that the two well known enemies were in fact dating. But to add more shock as they walked through the halls they saw THE Natsume Hyuuga SMILING!
Nobody had doubted the fact that they knew this would come sooner or later, I mean this felt quite natural (a/n: meaning they had a small feeling that is was destined to happen), but still it was a shock to all!
when they got to the classroom Mikan cheered her usual "good morning everyone" and usually everyone answered back with a bored good morning but today was different because today no one answered back, they just stared awkwardly at the couple holding hands at the door. A puzzled Mikan and a monotonous Natsume just stood at the door for only a second before Natsume dragged Mikan off to their seat in the back of the classroom where Hotaru and Ruka were pacing aimlessly.
As soon as Mikan got her seat Hotaru blasted her with her baka gun 'baka baka baka'."How come I didn't know about this little romance scandal before anyone else!Huh!" Hotaru was boiling mad and anyone could see it. 'Why didn't she tell me! Sheesh! Aren't I her best friend! Oh Hyuuga is getting a mouthful this afternoon!'
"Mou Hotaru what was that for!"
"For not telling me you're in a relationship with Hyuuga and the fact Ruka knew before I did."
That's when Natsume stepped out from the sidelines and said "Imai that's because my best friend who now thanks to you is sitting in a corner scared and cowering was the one who set me up together with polka-dotted idiot." Hotaru sighed in defeat and said with relief "ok ok, I believe you guys…Hyuuga you better take good care of her, if you make her cry ONCE I'll murder you the next time you blink. That's a promise, okay!"
She glowered at Hyuuga coldly; he glared at her twice as coldly as if they were having a fight with their eyes. Natsume broke the mind duel by saying"Imai, I would kill myself for this girl" he bluntly stated pointing directly towards Mikan.
"I love her more than this whole universe". As he told them this (a/n: them are Mikan and Hotaru XD) they both felt his emotions towards Mikan in his voice. They heard directivity, protectiveness, tenderness and . . . love? Hotaru let out an exasperated sigh in defeat and said "okay, I give you two my blessing but Hyuuga I will keep my promise." As Mikan merely watched this whole conversation her eyes welled up with tears of joy. So much happiness ran through her that she tackled Natsume in a hug, causing them to hit the floor. When they hit the floor she yelled happily
"Oh My Gosh Natsume, I didn't know you could say something like that, I love you SO much!" Natsumes eyes widened at the brunettes sudden boldness but it faded quite quickly and he muttered softly so only the she could hear
" Mikan . . . I love you too" and with that he claimed her lips in a sweet soft kiss.
