Prologue~ Part 2 ~Marcell I could feel the bad angry vibe coming from Marko, I hesitated whether to intervene or not, and by the time that I was going to, he shot up out of his seat and whipped something at this one guys head. He almost screamed, but muffled it to a half yelps of pain, and half girly scream. I think I saw a few tears fall from his face, but I didn't want to find out if he was going to blame it on me. The teacher immediately turned to Marko and the other guy. Then she pushed her glasses up on her nose. "Marko, Lawson…you can BOTH spend tonight after school with Dan in detention!" then turned back to the board and everyone went quiet. Marko sat back down with that look in his eyes that he got when he was completely zoned out. I snapped my fingers in front of his face. "Marko?" I whispered, trying not to get heard by the teacher. "Marko! Snap out of it man!" I put my hand on his and almost instantly he came out of his trance. "Oh, uh, sorry Marcy." He whispered. Then he went back to copying the notes from the board. I did the same.
Later during free reading the one kid, I think his name was Dan, passed me a crumpled up piece of paper. I despised it when people just crumpled up the note, so when you go to open it, it makes the loudest most noticeable sound to a teacher. Thankfully I didn't have that problem. On the lined sheet it read, "so, you brawl?" Marko, assumable he saw my puzzled look snatched the page from my hands and wrote a reply on it. "We don't have any bakugan." Then he folded in into a small square and threw it back at Dan.
I watched as he unfolded the page to see his reaction, he read it then wrote something down, then passed it back. Marko took it from him before I could even try to grab it. The page read "Too bad, we could've brawled after detention." Marko slipped the note in his desk. Thankfully the rest of the day went without any more problems.
