Set during TLO._________________________________________________________
The boy looked back at the valley he was leaving behind. He loved everyone who lived there, but he couldn't put them in danger anymore.
The one thing he wasn't going to miss, was the foster parents he would be stuck with, they weren't the kind that cared or did anything nice, but they adopted him just for the attention.
He turned around and kept walking into the mountains. With only the clothes on his back, and the backpack full of food.
He didn't understand why the monsters attacked him, or why nobody else saw them, but he knew that he wasn't crazy. The monsters were real, and so he had left, not thinking about how he would survive, but focused on keeping everyone else safe.
As he continued over the mountain, he realized how free he felt, like no one was telling him what to do.
About an hour after dusk, he lay down and rested his head on a rock, and fell asleep. The dream was expected, a man whose face the boy couldn't make out was standing in a field. He cast no shadow and said something, this time though, the kid was suppressed to understand what he said.
"Go to New York, there is a camp there, tell them that you're a half-blood, and that you'll be claimed in three days."
Then he woke up. As if in a haze the boy made his way down the mountain, in the general direction of New York.
But of course it wasn't that easy.
It happened when the kid was almost to the east river, a monster, one that the boy had never seen before jumped out of the bushes and started advancing on him.
"The little demi-god is all alone with no were to go," it hissed.
It looked like a scaly woman with to snake legs. As the boy backed up he noticed a girl, dressed in silver, silently advancing on the snake woman. She pulled out an arrow and placed it on the bow she was carrying, and let go.
The monster disintegrated into dust. That's when realization sunk in, and the boys vision started clouding, and everything went black.
When the boy finally woke up he noticed he was on a soft bed, 'oh, no, they found me and now I'm in trouble' he thought, thinking of his stepparents.
But when he opened his eyes, there were three people about his age staring at him.
All of a sudden a girl with blond curly hair, and grey eyes put a straw into his mouth, and told him to drink. So he did, and it tasted like freshly baked cookies.
"Hi, I'm Percy, and these are Annebeth, and Thalia, who you've already met." the boy in the middle told him, motioning towards the two girls on either side of him.
"What's you're name?" asked the girl in silver, who was apparently named Thalia.
"I don't know," the boy said confused, he couldn't remember anything, just the dream.
"No seriously dude, what's your name?" Percy asked him.
"I really don't know, I can't remember anything." the boy said now scarred.
"Annabeth go get Chiron," Percy told her.
She ran out of the room, and a couple minuets later she came back in, with a man in a wheelchair,
"So what's going on" he asked Percy.
"This kid was attacked by a dracaenae, and can't seem to tell us his name." Percy replied.
"I think we should call him Faustus, its Greek for Lucky," Anabeth said, "And he was lucky Thalia showed up."
"I like it," the boy chirped up.
Ok so who likes it so far, remember to review.
