Ok... So I haven't updated my stories in such a long time! I know there isn't really an excuse for it but a lot has been going on in my life, including a hell of a lot of exams, and I had major writers block! I am so sorry about the lack of updates!

But now I am back, and I am working on a sequal to Difficulty and a couple of chapters of Another Chance.

So the following is a sort of apology for not being here.

Disclaminer: I do not own Torchwood or its characters

"I'm dying!"

"You're not dying Jack you have a cold." Gwen replied, slightly irritable.

"Well it feels like dying- I would know." Jack retorted in a child like manner, slipping down in his chair slightly.

"I have the feeling you are being a little over dramatic about all of this."

"How would you know?"

"Because you caught this off me, I wasn't acting like this when I had it." She rolled her eyes at him as he blew his nose and made a big deal out of doing so.

"It couldn't have been the same then. I can't possibly work."He groaned.

"Well I'm not exactly in the position to work either!"

"Can't you just shoot me?" He asked, pointing to his locked drawer which contained his gun.

"I'm not going to kill you so you can get rid of your cold Jack."

"Why not? I'd wake up perfectly healthy." He reasoned

"Because it's stupid! Also, it would take a lot of explaining to justify it to Owen."

"He wouldn't have to know!"

"He'd hear the gunshot!"

"Fine- have it your way. I'll just suffer." He smirked slightly whilst making a dramatic movement with his hand. He certainly knew how to wind her up.

"You are being overly dramatic about this whole situation. I can't believe you've never had a cold before."

"I've always managed to avoid it. Plus I thought the immortality stopped it from happening." He couldn't believe that after well over 100 years of being alive he had caught the common cold.

"Obviously not! I've had to deal with your complaining for the last three days. Damn maternity leave! If I wasn't heavily pregnant I'd so be in work right now away from you and your unreasonable behaviour."

"I'm not being unreasonable!" He replied, looking shocked that she would suggest such a thing.

"You just asked me to shoot you with our four year old son in the next room." She said signalling to the room Owen was sleeping in.

"Ok maybe that was unreasonable."

"You think?" As she said it they both turned as they heard a door opening, Owen was standing there clutching a teddy bear.

"Mummy?"

"Yes sweetie?"

"I don't feel very well!" Gwen could tell Jack was smirking at this from behind her.

"You go back in your room and I'll be in there in a second." The little boy nodded and went back into his room. Gwen turned back to Jack, who had stopped smirking because of the look of thunder on her face.

"All I can say is- this one better be a girl," She said signalling to her overly rounded stomach. She then entered Owen's bedroom. Jack smiled, he loved his family.

I hope you liked it! It sort of randomly came to me whilst I was watching the DVD and I had a really bad cold.

I will update the other stories as soon as I can!

Please Review.

Love, Vicky
