Silent Rebellion
Her body tense, she waited.
In a small cell with no window, she held her breathe.
Alone, fear stiffed every other emotion. It held her in it's grasp because she knew there would be no rescue. No chance of escape.
Then, she heard the door creak. Panic joined fear as tears squeezed past her tightly closed eyes.
No matter what happened.
She would not say a word.
