Slinky Goes to the Dentist
A/N: This fan-fic is based on a story I wrote about Toy Story in 1997. This story is a OneShot.
One day, Slinky woke up with a terrible pain in one of his teeth. He approached the toys with the situation. He never had experienced such a horrible pain before.
"Slinky, you should see the dentist," Buzz said.
"Yes, you should, Slinky," said Hamm.
"We live in Andy's room. Why would there be a dentist's office here?" Slinky wondered.
"Oh, one of the toys turned into a dentist overnight," Woody answered.
"Okay…who?" Slinky asked.
The next thing he knew, he stood in front of a cardboard box that said, "Dentist" on it. He went inside and saw Bo Peep, or Dr. Bo Peep as she was now called.
"Bo Peep! You're the dentist? When did that happen?" Slinky questioned.
"Someone's got to be the dentist. I decided to do it," Dr. Bo Peep said. "Now open up." Slinky opened his mouth wide, and Dr. Bo Peep looked inside. Slinky closed his mouth when Dr. Bo Peep finished looking inside. "Slinky, it seems that you have a very big cavity." Slinky gasped. "I'll have to use the drill," Dr. Bo Peep said.
But Slinky danced around the inside of the box and said, "No, I'll do whatever want."
"All right," said Dr. Bo Peep, "but if you won't let me drill, your tooth will still hurt."
"Well, all right, I'll do it," said Slinky.
All of a sudden, Mr. Potato Head came into the dentist's office. "Hey, Slinky! This is for leaving your doggy doo-doo on my mustache!" He then hit Slinky hard on the mouth and out fell the tooth that caused Slinky so much pain!
"Gee, thanks a lot, Potato Head!" Slinky growled. "Now I'll have to get a false tooth!" So Slinky walked sadly out of the dentist's office without his tooth. He went to play with the other toys.
Hamm asked, "Where did you go?"
Slinky replied, "I went to the dentist, but that mean old Potato Head knocked out my tooth before Dr. Bo Peep could fix it. Now, I'll have to go back to the dentist to get a false tooth."
"No," said Hamm, "we can get your old tooth and put it back in."
Hamm and Slinky returned to Dr. Bo Peep's office, and they searched the office for Slinky's tooth. Dr. Bo Peep already had found it and drilled in it and filled the cavity, so all she had to do was glue it back in Slinky's mouth. The process took only a minute, and Slinky was ready to leave. He thanked Dr. Bo Peep, and then, Hamm and he left the office, feeling glad that good had been done.
Slinky felt there was one more thing he had to do. He spotted Mr. Potato Head. "Hey, Potato Head!" Mr. Potato Head turned around, but before he could reply, Slinky swung his rear end and hit Mr. Potato Head. Mr. Potato Head slid all the way across Andy's room, hit the wall, and every last one of his parts fell off his potato body.
A voice from Mr. Potato Head's mouth was heard. "Thanks. I really wanted that," Mr. Potato Head stated sarcastically. He then laughed along with Slinky and the other toys and apologized for hitting Slinky in the mouth. Then, they all played a nice board game for the rest of the afternoon.
