Attack of The Pegasi

Usually the weather in Ponyville was clear skies and shining sun, but not today. Twilight Sparkle stared up into the sky from her upstairs window, wondering why the sky was enclosed with dark, menacing clouds.
"Spike?" She asked, turning around to look at the small dragon, "What's the weather supposed to be like today?"
Spike responded surely, "The earth ponies said it should be another sunny day. I guess the pegasi aren't doing their job today."
"That's not like them, especially Rainbow Dash. C'mon Spike, let's see what's going on."
Twilight stepped outside with Spike perched on her back. All around Ponyville were different ponies, running and playing and laughing, as if scheduled. As Twilight searched the air and ground for Rainbow Dash, she noticed that besides no Rainbow Dash, there were no pegasi at all. Ponyville seemed extremely empty with 1/3 of its population mysteriously gone.
"Spike, you see any Pegasi?" Twilight questioned.
"No, but we can head to Fluttershy's tree, I'm sure she knows what's happening."
After wandering through empty streets and empty skies they finally got to the thick tree where Fluttershy called home. The tree was surrounded by various animals, having fun and goofing around. As Twilight stepped towards the front door, a small group of squirrels sprinted passed her hooves, and above a flock of crows cried and quickly flew in different direction.
Twilight banged on the door with her front hooves, and as the two waited together, the house grew quieter.
"I guess no one's home." Twilight said, beginning to walk away.
"Wait!" Spike cried "You can't just leave! What if somebody kidnapped her, or she's stuck? Fluttershy barely ever leaves her tree!"
"Yah and I suppose every other pegasus in Ponyville got kidnapped as well Spike, be realistic."
"Ah, come on Twilight! Please go check out her house!" Spike pleaded, now on his knees.
"Fine." Twilight muttered, rolling her eyes.
She once again approached Fluttershy's tree, and Twilight easily flipped the lock on the other side of the door just before using her magic to swing it open to its full extent. Inside the tree were multiple stairwells and rooms, and above all there were lots and lots of animals, squawking and hissing at the unfriendly visitor.
"Fluttershy! Fluttershy!" Spike called out to the crowded rooms.
"Spike, let's leave. We're already breaking and entering."
"Yah, ok, and what's Fluttershy gonna' do if she finds out? Yell at us? Ha!" The dragon responded humorously.
Twilight sighed and looked around. "You know Spike; I've never really looked around Fluttershy's house. She's always urging me to leave whenever I visit."
"Well what are you waiting for? Let's do some snooping!" Spike said eagerly, jumping off Twilight's back. Spike began to run into what seemed like the kitchen, but Twilight grabbed him by his tail with her magic, and then slowly pulled him back as he was still trying to run, now just going nowhere.
"Spike, that's really not polite. Now come on, we're getting out of here."
As soon as Twilight lifted Spike onto her back, a bright yellow figure stepped into her vision. Twilight looked to her side to see Fluttershy stepping out of the darkness, and once she caught a view of Twilight she gasped and acted extremely startled.
"Oh, Fluttershy, I didn't realize you were home. We just had a few questions." Twilight said, trying to seem innocent.
"Twilight, you're in my house... how... pleasant." The shy pegasus responded.
"Yah, we just noticed that there weren't very few pegasi out flying today, and everypony agrees the weather's gotten out of hand lately."
"Yah, well all the pegasi are having a... very important meeting today. Sorry 'bout the weather."
"A meeting? Between one class of ponies? That's never been done before."
"Yes, and I'm actually running a bit late. You two can stay here if you want- NO! I mean, I insist you stay here, I... I'm... Just make yourself at home. I'll be back... soon."
With that Fluttershy flew calmly out the door and into the clouds.
"Twilight, l think we should leave." Spike said, sounding frightened.
"Relax Spike, we'll leave soon. We'll leave now, if you're really that uncomfortable here."
"Wait... which room did Fluttershy come out of?" Spike spoke, stopping Twilight.
The two of them stared at the dark area where Twilight met with Fluttershy. It was extremely blackened past the two walls surrounding it, not much showing from behind the doorway.
"I guess we can find out, she did say make yourself at home." Twilight said, taking a few steps into the darkness. As soon as her head was engulfed in the blackened area, she heard the sound of flapping wings behind her. The unicorn turned around and, looking at the doorway, saw two familiar shapes by the names of Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash.
"Oh, hey guys!" Spike shouted. The two figures appeared to ignore them, as they were both talking amongst themselves. Twilight could barely make out what they were saying, but Fluttershy had a depressed facial expression- and Rainbow Dash an angry one.
Suddenly, the rainbow pegasus flew towards Twilight, still talking to Fluttershy.
"They almost found out, you retard. Man up!" As Rainbow spoke those words, immediately after speaking she pulled out a large item which looked as if it were a large needle. Before Twilight had any time to react, Twilight felt a pinch in her neck, and after a few seconds she fell to the ground with Spike, completely paralyzed but still aware of what was going on. Her eyes stayed open as she witnessed her number one assistant try to run for his life, only to be caught by Rainbow Dash desperately flying over and picking Spike up while Fluttershy cowered against a wall. All Twilight saw was Rainbow Dash beginning to push onto Spike's elbow, forcing his arm to bend in the opposite direction. Twilight witnessed these acts up until she heard a loud crack, then she drifted off to an unconscious state.

Twilight awoke in a daze, trying to remember anything that happened that day. She couldn't see much, her eyes were still blurry from her sleep. She could make out a dark, gray tile stretching across from her, high in the air. As her eyes got more into focus she realized that she was lying down, facing the ceiling. Twilight then twisted her neck to see what else was around her. A large, dark room surrounded her completely. There were a few stage lights shining down from the walls, the walls of which looked as if they were constructed of cement. There was a moist feeling in the air around her, and the room also felt quite cold. Twilight lifted her arms to rub her eyes, but then noticed she couldn't budge them past her waist.

When her memory finally settled in, all she remembered was herself fainting, and playing with Fluttershy and Rainbow was the last sight she was awake for. Twilight looked down at her body and saw that both her legs and her arms were pinned down (to what felt like a hard, wooden table) by leather straps which wrapped themselves around the plank she was held upon. Twilight tried to use her magic to pick up anything... anything at all, before she noticed the entire room she was trapped in was completely empty.

Twilight struggled to remember that teleportation spell she had successfully accomplished all those times before, but her mind was still in a dense haze. Trying to think quickly, she soon remembered how to perform the spell and, without hesitation, forced the spell onto her. Instead of reappearing in a new area, Twilight just found herself strapped to the same table, only this time a menacing pain shot through the base of her horn. Twilight squealed and, in a nervous breakdown, performed the spell again. Not knowing if she did the spell wrong the first time, she was somewhat surprised to find the same sharp pain shoot through her skull. The feeling of a javelin striking her horn passed over once again until the pain stricken unicorn finally gave up. Without the help of magic, she had nothing to rely on to help her.
"Hello? Hello?" Twilight shouted to no one, listening to her voice echo back to her. She tried to flail her arms and legs, but there was no help there. She started to get very frightened now that she was fully awake and functional. She kept trying to use a light spell to brighten the dark corners of the room that weren't lit by the yellow luminescent stage lights, but she was shaking too much to do so. She screamed once more, but that scream was interrupted by the clanking of a door. She looked to where the sound was seemingly coming from, just as a door cut from the concrete wall swung open, and a blue pegasus appeared.
"Hey Twi! You're two hours early, you know that?" Rainbow Dash said pleasantly as she entered the large room.
"Rainbow, help me out here!" Twilight shouted as Rainbow Dash approached her.
"Well, what fun would that be? I mean, if I just let you go after all the troubles of getting you here?"
Twilight struggled to keep looking at her, but her entire body was facing the ceiling, and twisting her neck was getting harder to do.
"Dash, come on. Just let me go, I got important matters to attend to."
Dash now stepped up to the table Twilight laid on, looking down at the magical pony.
"You still think this is all a joke? Jeez Twi, you were probably the closest to figuring us out, you should be more serious."
"Rainbow, what's wrong with you?"
"What's wrong with me? I didn't do anything; I'm just participating in the event. I had no part of the idea itself, although I should've."
"Okay Rainbow, you can untie me now, I'm starting to get a little spooked."
Rainbow's face flourished with rage.
"Are you kidding me Twilight? I just told you at least six times, and you still think this is a joke. Am I usually this funny? Do my pranks usually end up like this?"
Rainbow slurred, angrily staring down at Twilight's struggling body.
Rainbow Dash's expression got angrier and angrier, although Twilight hasn't spoken for the last 30 seconds.
"Alright, we're going to start, and if you still want to believe this is a joke, you can do just that."
After speaking, Rainbow lifted her hoof and brought it down furiously onto a steel plate implanted into the ground. Immediately the front of the table, where Twilight's back hooves were strapped down, lost suspension and fell onto the ground. The straps tried to hold Twilight tightly, but some of her skin went with gravity, scratching up against the leather. The unicorn let out a short cry, but still refused to believe the lovable Rainbow Dash would do anything against her friends.
The plank was now sticking up near Twilight's head, and pressed onto the ground at her back hooves, leaving her body at a 30 degree angle, letting Twilight get a better view of Rainbow Dash and the rest of the room.
"Rainbow! That hurt!" She exclaimed.
The pegasus pony chuckled and bent down so her face was leveled with Twilight's hooves near the ground.
"Silly me, I forget to open up the hoof plates!"
While saying that, Rainbow took a hold of a small, square pad loosely embedded to the table and slid it up, pushing Twilight's leg up in the process. After that, Rainbow did the same thing with the other plate directly across, so now Twilight could stand stiffly to balance her weight.
"Is that more comfy?" Rainbow asked as if talking to a small filly, "You still think this is a joke?"
Before Twilight could answer Rainbow Dash walked out of her vision, then reappeared wheeling a gurney. Placed on the rolling table was something that looked like a cube. Twilight couldn't tell what it was, for a dirty white cloth was hung lazily on the top.
As Rainbow Dash smiled again, she grabbed the cloth and flung it off, and once Twilight saw what was placed on the table horrible memories came back to her. She remembered how she passed out, and what happened to her number one assistant...
Twilight stared into the glass cube, and Spike stared back at her. He was trapped like a monkey in a zoo, pounding on the glass but not making any noise. Twilight gasped when she saw her best friend trapped in the transparent cube, pounding on the glass with one arm. She kept staring at the baby dragon, now noticing why he was only using one arm... the other wasn't there. Twilight almost threw up as she caught sight of the bloody, bandaged stump which was once his arm. Spike had his mouth gaping open, he was obviously screaming at Twilight, screams of fear.
"What?" Rainbow Dash asked, not shocked at all, "Pegasi don't make the best doctors."
Rainbow laughed maniacally as Twilight stared with her jaw hanging open. Spike was tearing tremendously, and the look in his eyes was unforgettable.
"Rainbow?" Twilight choked.
"Um... I'm pretty sure his name is Spike!" She laughed.
"Rainbow, what have you done?"
"I followed orders Twilight, jeez."
"Rainbow, let him go! Please!"
"Ha! Not so funny anymore is it? Well, not for you!" She snorted.
"What do you want?" Twilight choked, now crying heavily.
"Listen to me... I don't make the rules, I follow them."
"WHAT RULES!" Twilight shrieked, getting annoyed.
Rainbow just laughed, "You know Twi, right as you entered Ponyville I had my eye on you. No matter what I would be your extractor, think about it… The most magical pony and the strongest pony, working together." She was obviously stalling.
"Okay, sure... but... are you going to hurt him?"
"Um... I'm pretty sure we've already hurt him."
Twilight looked back at Spike, who was now in a ball crying.
"You know what I meant." Twilight said, looking back at Rainbow.
"Well, honestly, it doesn't matter, but it is a necessity. Hurting him would probably be good."
Twilight now started crying harder.
"Okay, I think it's time I tell you what's going on, so you don't die thinking I'm a dick." Rainbow said, grinning.
As soon as Twilight heard Rainbow talk about her dying, she looked up and held her breath.
"You see Twi," She started, "When the three classes of ponies found Ponyville, they were constantly fighting until they all eventually became friends, but I don't have to tell you something you already knew about. What you didn't know was that the pegasi were constantly planning to take Ponyville for themselves, like they wanted to do in the first place. We didn't want to share a town with the unicorns and earth ponies, I mean, why else would we make a town only accessible to pegasi? Cloudsdale was mainly for planning, planning for a way to take over. Finally, scientists and doctors came up with a genius theory, that us pegasi can harvest magic from unicorns! Can you imagine the fastest flyers with the strongest magic? By the way, that role goes to you."
Twilight watched, shocked. She stopped crying since she was eager to pay attention.
"Anyways, with the unicorn's magic, us Pegasi could charge into Ponyville, wiping out every earth pony left, since they're already weak, and all of our kind will become even stronger than before! Cool, huh?"
Twilight was speechless. After a few seconds staring at Rainbow and wondering if she was telling the truth or not, Twilight tried to choke out some words.
"So, why do you need to hurt us? Kill us?"
"Well, you guys's magic can be measured on a scale of... a power level sorta. When we harvest that magic, whatever 'power level' is currently on, that's the amount of power we get. Now, the Pegasi say that the power level can get higher when the giver gets... scared, so our job is to 'play with them' so we can have the maximum power. I think that's total bull, and that they just made that rule so they can have fun. Like I said, I only follow the rules."
Rainbow Dash plugged in a green pipe to what now appeared as a hole at the top of the glass cube. Spike noticed, and stopped what he was doing to look up, still crying.
"Say Twilight, are you much of a screamer?" Rainbow asked.
Twilight stayed motionless, still trying to grasp what was going on.
"Eh, I only asked. No harm." Rainbow taunted, walking behind the table Twilight was strapped to.
Twilight tried to bend her neck to see what the rainbow pegasus was doing, but all she could do is listen to a creaking sound, as if something was slowly revolving. As Twilight bent her neck back to the cube, the first thing that greeted her was a shrieking dragon, being drenched in a clear liquid. While his screams were mute, his actions were clearly visible. With his one hand, he maniacally tried to stop the spray of liquid coming down from the hose. The helpless dragon could do nothing but watch the clear substance reach his knees, more tears now streaming down Twilight's cheeks. She watched in horror as Spike insanely bashed his body into every side of the cube, hoping to accomplish something. She watched hesitantly for a few seconds more, until she heard more creaking, and the hose reduced the liquid pouring out, which was now around Spike's waist. As the little dragon began to calm, Rainbow stepped back into her vision.
"Hey Twi, scared yet? Well, I don't want you to shatter my eardrums, so bite down on this."
Rainbow reached beside Twilight, behind her line of sight, then retracted and placed something sturdy and cushioned into Twilight's gaping mouth. Instead of immediately spitting it out, Twilight embraced the offer and bit down on the object, calming her a bit. She gave muffled pants as she watched Rainbow Dash pulled a small, wooden item off the ground as she leaned into Twilight with the object. Twilight tried to push herself against the table, not wanting to interact with Rainbow whatsoever. Rainbow then proceeded to flick the item against Twilight's horn, setting it ablaze. Twilight flinched and softly bit down on the object in her mouth from the roughness of the now obvious match Rainbow Dash held between her hooves.
"C'mon Twilight, you should be able to guess what happens next! Don't be a Fluttershy!"
Twilight's eyes widened exponentially as she witnessed the pegasus remove the hose from the hole and carelessly dropped the match in it. Twilight screamed into the object in her mouth as the entire room lit up in a red glow. Twilight tried to compress herself to the plank while Rainbow giggled loudly over the burning dragon's screeches, which could now be heard from the open hole which spit out a stream of fire. Twilight could not look away from the charred black, melting baby smearing blood across the glass in Twilight's direction. Spike's skin started melting onto the glass, dripping black and red liquid across the flames. One of its eyes seemed to shrivel up like a raisin, then burst slowly leaving pus and blood in its place. Soon the wrinkled, night black, bubbling corpse fell onto its knees, then fell to one side, leaving a smeared bloody body print on the glass. The fire died out, while the only flames remaining were placed on the corpse. Twilight closed her eyes seconds ago, now biting with full force on the object placed in her mouth. Burning hot tears ran down her burning hot face as the smell if burned flesh crept around the air around them. The flames on the corpse slowly died out as it melted onto the cube bottom, and the room grew dark again. Twilight still refused to open her eyes; she did not want to remember Spike as a corpse.
"Whoo! Scared yet?" Rainbow said exuberantly. Twilight didn't speak, still biting onto the object.
"You know what's funny Twilight? We didn't even have to kill him! But it was fun, and I think I'm doing a good job at following the rules, if I do say so myself." Rainbow smiled as she saw Twilight's face.
"Hey Twilight, you got a little something."
Twilight continued to bite down, until she noticed there was a bitter taste in her mouth that she didn't notice before. She spit out the object in her mouth, which rolled down her body and plopped on the floor, getting stopped by the cart Spike's cage was placed on. Twilight forced her eyes open, and in front of her she saw a tiny purple arm, now with tooth marks planted into its core, which were each spurting crimson blood.

Twilight's eyes were now brought up to the glass box, now stained black from the fire. She reluctantly spat the pool of blood in her mouth, now dripping down her chin and torso. Her friend's gore was cold and thick, not feeling the best in an already freezing environment. Twilight was still crying exponentially, and refused to let up. As she remembered all the horrible things Rainbow did to her today, she now felt scared. Her survival instincts took out all the grief for her friend and turned them into thoughts of fear. She now realized if she didn't get out of here soon, Rainbow Dash would kill her. As Rainbow wheeled the cart behind Twilight, she started to panic and began to flail her arms and legs, trying to loosen or break the straps. Her hooves scratched at the leather with no avail, and as Twilight realized she was truly stuck she began to get very claustrophobic. Her sobs turned into heavy breathing and her arms tried to push at the straps to get the tiniest space to breathe. She continued this process until Rainbow strolled back in, pushing a cart that was not covered by any sheet. Twilight began to calm down to see what was laid out on the metal in front of her.

"You know Twilight", Rainbow toned, "When I received these tools I was very disappointed."

Twilight stared in horror at the arrangement of common medical tools, such as scalpels, tweezers, and other sharp objects. Her eyes traced the table, imagining the pain each item will cause to her.

"I really wanted something cooler, like a chainsaw! Or maybe a sledgehammer, or, or, or a war axe!"

Twilight looked away, in any other direction besides the torturous implements. Trying to avoid the inevitable, the scared unicorn tried to stall the pegasus. Twilight thought of a question just to hope for somepony to bust through the door and snap Rainbow's neck. Possibly a big, strong colt to come to her rescue, but for this to happen Twilight first needed to think of a question. All of the pain she had gone through tonight, she could only think back to the first time she experienced it…

"Why… why does my horn hurt?" She stuttered, still not making eye contact with Rainbow.

Rainbow stopped glaring at the objects presented to her like a child would with candy. She turned to face Twilight with a laugh out loud grin on her face.

"Wow! You're quick to catch on, aren't ya'?" She said sarcastically.

"Yeah, maybe, sure! Just… why?"

Rainbow sighed. "Well, I guess we will have to give you another lesson, won't we?"

Twilight hoped that that strong colt would burst through the door, because Twilight knew that more pain would come directly after this 'speech'.

"Alright Twi," Rainbow started. "A unicorn horn is much like the brain, each of its contents lies in different parts, all spread separately. Oh Celestia, it feels like I'm teaching a class of first graders. So, all our doctors had to do was slice out the section of your horn that held the magic to shift objects and, more threateningly, yourself. It's sort of like a… copy and paste technique… a technique that you no longer have." Rainbow chuckled. "Oh, oh! And the pain, the pain in your horn, well that's not supposed to happen but, you know, us pegasi don't make the best doct-" Rainbow couldn't even finish the sentence she was laughing so hard.

Rainbow wiped tears from her eyes and went quiet again. Twilight passed her vision over to Rainbow, who leaned over the table to pick up the first item. Her hoof traveled past all the implements of terror, slowly gliding across the blade for each one. She passed the hammer, she passed the buzz saw, she passed the various needles, each filled with a different liquid, and she passed almost every tool on the cart, until she got to an empty space.

"Oh god, something must have fallen off. Well, I guess we don't need it, right Twi? We can work with what we got!"

Twilight shook her head, not necessarily to the question, but the overall statement of whether to use the tools or not.

"You know, you're right. We need the whole set to have fun, you know, one weak link can break the chain. We can decide to use that tool first if you want, Twi. It'll be fun!" With that, Rainbow walked behind Twilight's now thought of as her deathbed, or the table she was strapped to.

Twilight quickly used her time and recourses to think of a way to escape. She tried her hardest to use all her magic to pick up the first thing placed on the table, but she was shaking so much she had a difficult time focusing. After a few seconds, a butcher knife started to slowly rise off the sheet metal, and now that her magic was targeted to an item, Twilight easily but cautiously brought it over to her and placed the blade at the leather around her arms and upper torso.

Twilight used her magic to quickly slice the leather in a smooth up and down pattern, while also trying to make out where Rainbow's current location was. Twilight looked back at the strap, and was saddened by how little was cut. She was now getting nervous that she wouldn't finish in time, and her instinct was to slice faster and harder. Trying to use this much magic while scared out of her mind wasn't easy. So much of Twilight's concentration went into this act, she didn't even notice when the rainbow pegasus stepped to the side of Twilight, who jumped as a blue hoof grabbed the butcher knife with great speed. Twilight looked up at Rainbow holding the knife, which was still surrounded by an omniscient purple glow. The knife swung down at Twilight's face, and a sudden pain shot up down her spine as the blade stuck itself at the base of Twilight's horn, stopping halfway. Blood and green fluid leaked down her face at tremendous amounts as Twilight cried out in pain, trying to stay awake. Shots of blood shot up in the air as Rainbow yanked out the knife with great force, her hooves now covered in blood. She wiped some of the vile liquid across her torso, creating a smear of red covering her blue fur.

"Alright Twilight, you can try to escape, but nothing, I repeat- NOTHING will stop you and me from having some good fun." Rainbow scolded, inches away from Twilight's spurting horn.

"AND, you didn't let me use this beauty on you as a first choice!" Rainbow held up a small black wire with two round, wooden sticks on the end.

After looking at the object for a set amount of time, she now noticed the object being piano wire. Twilight cringed at the thought of the razor sharp wire against her skin.

"You know Twi, this isn't my favorite weapon. I mean, anything that belongs in a classical instrument isn't cool. But, with another ingredient added to it, this item can be used to have some great fun."

Rainbow knelt down and pulled out another item from under the cart, an item Twilight has never seen from its hidden position. This item was a torch.

Twilight clenched her eyes shut and tried to pass unconscious, or pass away, anything to relieve from what pain was going to be given to her. As she tried to look away, Rainbow repeated the process of gliding the fire from the torch across the wire, making it glowing red and steaming. This went on for around a minute (to Twilight it seemed like forever) until she heard a very familiar voice, not a voice she was terrified of this time.

"Rainbow, come quick! Rainbow!" A soft, feeble voice shouted out.

Twilight pried open her eyes to see her tormentor running over to the little yellow pegasus, Fluttershy. Twilight was worried what Rainbow would do to a pony that small, but in her confused state she realized that Fluttershy was knelt down and dragging a white blanket with her teeth. Rainbow dropped the piano wire and the torch, which fell to the ground with a thud. Instead of Rainbow rushing over to Fluttershy, she ran right over the white blanket. Twilight shook her head, and suddenly the blur from the objects in front of her decreased, and she soon noticed that the white sheet was one of her favorite ponies… Rarity. Fluttershy was dragging her by her mane like some kind of zoo animal. What's worse is what has happened to her friend. Rarity's eyes were bleached white and she was gasping for air, desperately trying to breathe. Her arms tried to lift themselves up but she was just too weak. Twilight gasped when she saw Rarity's once perfect hooves, now ruined with thin, wooden needles shoved in at all angles. There were at least twenty in each hoof, each ripping the skin across her arms and legs. Her stomach was brutally mangled and obliterated, her skin ripping in every direction and form. Blood poured down her sides and her arms, then pooled across the floor. A trail of blood and other fluids were trailed across the path which Rarity was dragged in. Twilight stared at the fashion unicorn until her eyes rolled toward her direction, seemingly pleading for Twilight's help. Twilight just couldn't stand it and looked at anything else, and her eyes happened to land on Rainbow and Fluttershy talking.

"I thought you would go easy on her! We need the magic!" Rainbow growled.

"No, no, you don't understand!" Fluttershy staggered back.

"Actually, I don't think you understand. If she dies, we lose her magic. We need to do this now before she loses too much blood, you can kill her afterwards!"

"But Dash, this isn't even mine."

"Just… finish what I've left off, and please use the tool on the ground; the piano wire." With the pointing of her hoof at the piano wire on the ground, Rainbow took a hold of Rarity and stormed out, leaving a bloody trail in her place.

Fluttershy slowly wiped the blood on her hooves across the ground and strolled over to Twilight, who was now nearly paralyzed by what she saw. Twilight was mainly happy that Rainbow Dash wasn't in the room anymore, and her friend Fluttershy was standing there in her place.

"Fluttershy, thank God you're with me! I was seriously getting worried I would die out here!"
Fluttershy ignored Twilight, instead all she did was walk over the piano wire and pick it up by the wooden handle, being careful not to touch the burning hot steel.

"Fluttershy, untie me so we can escape before that maniac comes back! Come on, Fluttershy! I'm in a lot of pain, now cut these leather straps, please!"

Fluttershy jumped over to Twilight and shoved their faces together, now staring eye to eye. Twilight could see a spark of madness in Fluttershy's eyes, and soon the unicorn got even more terrified all of a sudden.

"Shut your God damn mouth you worthless corpse!" Fluttershy shrieked into Twilight's face.

"Fluttershy, you wouldn't hurt a fly, never mind a pony!" Twilight tried to reason.

"Oh yeah? I just about murdered Rarity, had too much fun I guess I got carried away. Before that I harvested the magic of two other unicorns, and they were only fillies! Don't worry, I didn't just do the normal hack and slash, I used my own way of punishment. I call it the 'rip and tear' technique. I managed to get a lot more fear out of them, and A LOT more screaming!"

Fluttershy immediately backed away from the recoiled pony, and dropped down to the unicorn's bottom hoof level.

"Lift your leg up." Fluttershy commanded, now holding both sides of the piano wire in both hooves.

Twilight was now sobbing again, possibly more scared than before.

"I don't ask twice…" Fluttershy muffled under Twilight's sniffling.

Before she gave the unicorn a chance to react, Fluttershy reached up and grabbed whatever her hoof landed on first, which happened to be the small hammer. Fluttershy looked down on it, shrugged, and then swung it with all of her force against Twilight's kneecap. Twilight heard a loud smash, and then the sound of herself screaming by instinct. Pain filled her legs like boiling water being injected into them, and she soon felt blood dripping down, tickling her leg as her knee pulsed in agony. Fluttershy then held her front hoof under Twilight's and jerked her entire bloody leg upwards, shifting the already broken bone and making a sharp fragment push itself through her fur, ripping down the entire front of her leg as more blood began leaking onto Fluttershy. Twilight's knee began to swell and bruise very noticeably while she refused to look down at her adulterated leg. The pain from her knee soon transferred to a sharp, unbearable pain at the bottom of her hoof. She looked down finally and her view went past the razor sharp bone covered in blood and to the blood encrusted wire that sat under her hoof, sending out a thin layer of steam rising from the blood and heat mixture. Twilight now let out short, panicked yelps as she lost all the energy needed to let out a scream.

"Stop crying, you sissy. Even the fillies didn't cry this much."

Twilight tried to look away or pass out from the pain but she just couldn't stop her eyes from gazing at Fluttershy lifting the wire up Twilight's hoof. Twilight gave up screaming or feeling anything whatsoever as she was getting very dizzy and faint. The wire was shoved up by a familiar friend, slowly splitting her leg apart and making blood pour onto the ground in large quantities. The muscle slowly split apart as more steam rose and soon enough the smell of burning flesh filled the air again. There was a sound much like ripping of paper as the tendons split and snapped. Twilight grew closer to passing out and soon thoughts of her past minutes filled her mind, each shouting over each other and causing great stress.

Twilight always wanted to die with her friends, but right now these people were not her friends. She was not going to die in a way of such disgrace and dishonor. She was going to get out of this, any way she knew how. Suddenly, with the next sound of her own flesh tearing, her eyes widened and her horn blazed with color as Twilight assured herself she was not going die.

Fluttershy had no time to look up before the cart of tools flew into her body by the force of magic, sending Fluttershy and the cart flinging across the room. Twilight focused the magic on the piano wire already a quarter up her leg, and the first thing she thought of doing was pulling it out straight through the flesh, which is what happened at the thought of it. The back side of her bottom hoof split from the rest of the limb and fell to the ground. Twilight didn't focus on the pain, but instead on the wire which she now held to the already cut leather, and began sliding the wire up and down the slice. As she used every jolt of magic inside of her, more blood and green fluid spurt out of her cut horn as she pushed all the power out of her system. Twilight's eyes had now turned white with strength as blood poured into her eyelids, but with all the pain in her body at the moment she didn't even notice. After some time, the mixture of sharpness and heat got through the leather and it finally snapped. Her face was now soaked with her own blood, but all she cared about was escaping with some of her body parts left. Twilight fell forwards and immediately felt another pain in her leg as the bone slashed itself through more of her flesh. She decided to ignore the pain and used her good hooves to untie the second strap blocking her legs.

The next strap fell loose, allowing Twilight to jump off the table and land on three legs. She stretched for a moment, as she hasn't moved for so long she could barely stand. She finally shook herself to consciousness and turned around to look at the rest of the room, eager to find a different exit than the one Rainbow took Rarity to. As she twisted her neck to look behind herself, she was met with a sprinting pegasus pony running straight at her. In her hoof was a scalpel, and in her eyes were pure evil. Twilight, still blessed with magic, thought quickly and stopped the blade from entering her eye, the knife inches away from her retina. Fluttershy pushed as hard as she could, expelling grunts and curses, but she just couldn't override the power of Twilight's survival magic. The knife flipped around, still in Fluttershy's hoof, and Twilight found it quite easy to shove the knife deep into her ex-friend's neck. Fluttershy's eyes widened in horror as she knew she had been beaten. Blood pooled down her chest and dripped to the floor, now fusing with Twilight's. Their blood was now shared… and couldn't be undone. Twilight let another tear fall down her cheek as she sliced the scalpel across the entire neck of yellow fur. Blood ran down all sides in one cascade of a rippling current, and Twilight watched the friendliest pony she's ever met gurgle up blood and fall to the ground.

Twilight didn't stop to observe what she had done; she immediately looked around the back of the empty room (which looked almost exactly like the front) and realized there was no exit beside the one two of her friends were in… one most likely dead and the other a monster. Twilight decided she had to face them both, so without further pondering, she limped to the wide open door, leaving a bloody Fluttershy behind her.

Twilight entered the dark room, trying to breathe quietly so anyone in there doesn't know she's there, and anyone means ANYONE, friend or foe; except by now, all her friends have become her foe. She could trust no one.

Twilight made her way through a dark room, then another, then another, all three small and empty. She tried to look for other ways to go, but every room had one door, and through every door was a trail of blood Twilight was hesitantly following.

Twilight entered yet another small, dark room… but this one was different. Like all the others there was a door directly across from her, but there was not cold, slick blood splattered around it. Twilight stopped and looked under her feet… blood. She followed the path, but halfway across the room it shifted in another direction. Her eyes followed the blood until the trail stopped at a blue figure… Rainbow Dash. She was kneeling over a small, fountain like structure that was filled with red and green liquids. A frightened Rarity was lying paralyzed on Rainbow Dash's lap, who was draped in blood. Rainbow Dash held a glistening, slicked with blood hatchet. She observed the beauty of it for another moment then brought it crashing down on Rarity's horn, which now Twilight realized was hanging on by the bone itself, which was slowly getting withered away. Twilight put her own hoof to her mouth to stop from screaming as she tried to look away from the grueling sight. Anywhere she turned she saw Pegasus Ponies standing around Rainbow, watching continuously for what would happen next. Behind the well recognizable pony Dr. Whooves stood a towering metal machine that looked as if it were running on the fluid from the fountain. Everypony crowded around were people Twilight knew very well, most of them would never stoop to something like this, but then again, Fluttershy would kill herself from the thought of it.

Rainbow Dash brought another blow onto the horn, this time sending out a large crack through the room while light red blood splashed itself upon Rainbow's already dripping face. Twilight couldn't stand the sight and let out a faint yelp, causing every pegasus in the room to become quiet and stay perfectly still. Twilight got stricken with fear as not one pegasus dared to move, except for Rainbow Dash. Her neck slowly turned around, still dripping blood, until both of their eyes locked. This brought a sickening grin over Rainbow's face.

"Hey Twilight… Fluttershy not enough for ya'?"

Instead of answering, Twilight bolted as fast as three working legs could go. She knew from shear instinct that she could not outrun all those pegasus ponies, them being the fastest of the three species. She definitely couldn't fight, for her survival magic wore off long before. Instead, Twilight sprinted into the next room, but instead of going further she compressed her body against the wall right beside the door, a few seconds later she watched five or six pegasi come flapping past her, flying into the next room, then the room after that, then after that until Twilight couldn't hear the sound of their wings. The unicorn let out the breath she took in and slowly walked into the previous room. Her eyes once again followed the bloody path and up to the pool of blood Rarity was lying in. Soon Rarity's eyes opened wide, although Twilight was just relieved she was awake.

"Rarity, come on, let's get out of here!" Twilight whispered from across the room.

"Twilight… they… made me… walk…" Rarity tried to choke out the words.

Twilight was confused by what Rarity meant, but then looked down and once again saw the dozens of sticks shoved in her hooves, now each looking infected and dripping with pus. Twilight almost puked at the sight but resisted.

"Twilight, leave me… I… can't move… it hurts… so much…" Rarity coughed up more blood then let her head fall against the hard floor.

Twilight already lost three friends, she was not going to lose a fourth. She limped quickly over to Rarity and bit her by the mane, tasting a friend's blood once again. Twilight tried to drag Rarity across the hall, but one look at her mutilated horn made Twilight's gag reflex activate, letting go of Rarity's mane and letting her head smack against the floor once again. Rarity cried out in pain as loud as she could and basically gave up hope with falling silent. Twilight urged her to get up but she wouldn't budge. Rarity was just passed out on the floor with her eyes wide open, a small smile stretching across her face. Twilight got very nervous when she heard the sounds of voices that weren't hers, and the flapping of wings getting louder and louder.

Before Twilight could even think of a hiding place every fiber in her body told her to just do it, so she did. Twilight, without thinking, leaped into the fountain of blood and juices. The liquid splashed across the ground at the impact of her body, showering Rarity in her own blood, like she wasn't covered enough. The water was thick and had a God awful smell to it. The blood seemed to creep up her body and wrapped itself around each of Twilight's limbs, almost like it was trying to pull her under. Her sliced off hoof immediately reacted with sharp pain when it caught a hold of the stinging fluids, but Twilight sucked in a deep breath and dived deep into the fountain, being so deep she could almost hide her entire body in it. The blood around her face and cut horn acted as an echo, making it fairly easy to hear the conversation going on right beside her.

"The bitch must have pulled a fast one." A voice like Rainbow spoke.

"There's no way she could've ran faster than you Rainbow." Another pony responded.

"Yah, and did you see what Fluttershy did to her leg? That pony's got some skill!" Back to Rainbow.

"Yah, hey where is that little tormentor anyways?" A deeper-voiced pony spoke up.

"I don't know, I don't care. All I want to do is find that pony Twilight and cut her up before she gets somebody's attention." Rainbow said again, "Hook me up."

"But- Rainbow! We haven't tested it yet! We need to get a weak earth pony so we can easily slaughter the little bitch if it does work!"
"Well, I'm not going to take chances. Twilight is more powerful than any of you, and I know she can ruin us!"

Twilight lifted her dripping head out of the blood for a moment to see what was happening. Her head blended in with the rest of the fountain water, since it was fully encased in blood, not showing an inch of her true fur color. Twilight saw three Pegasi shoving needles into Rainbow Dash from all angles. There were needles in her arms, legs, neck, chest, flanks, everywhere. After they inserted every needle they dragged her over to the large machine and placed tubes in the backs of everything impaling Rainbow, then brought a leather strap across her limbs to keep the needles and the tubes from falling out.

"Are you ready?" Dr. Whooves asked, placing his hoof on a lever jutting out from the side of the mechanism.

"Sure." Rainbow Dash replied with nervousness in her voice.

Dr. Whooves brought down the switch, and the first thing Twilight noticed is the liquid she was sitting in started to recede, as if it were draining. Twilight pressed her body deeper into the liquid, getting scared her hiding spot would be corrupted. Still watching patiently, she saw the very liquid she was lying in get passed through the tubes, then entering Rainbow's body through the needles. Rainbow tensed up at the feeling over somepony else's blood getting injected into her system. Rainbow started shaking and jittering, she started sweating and drooling and soon excess blood started leaking through the leather straps. The machine began to hiss and clank loudly, and soon Twilight witnessed Dr. Hooves taking notice and flipping the lever back up, which made the machine quiet again.

Twilight looked around her and noticed that half the liquid was missing, so now half of her body was sticking out of the liquid making her quite noticeable. She tried to lie as motionless as possible, fearing the worst. Rainbow Dash got unhooked from the machine and immediately fell forward loosely.

"Well? Did it work?" Another pegasus asked.

Rainbow didn't respond… instead she got on all four and strained. Her entire body started to vibrate as the other pegasi awed. Rainbow gritted her teeth and soon became surrounded by a purple glow, but they weren't looking at the rainbow pegasus; they were looking at something else. Twilight's eyes followed theirs until she found a confused Rarity, floating in midair. Rainbow Dash smiled as Rarity let out a faint moan, and then everypony flinched at the poor pony as she completely exploded in a bloody mess. Organs and bone shards showered Twilight and the other Pegasi as each of them laughed and cheered. What looked like a red, tangled blob fell onto the concrete, splattering the floor and walls around it. Twilight dared to make a sound.

"Rainbow Dash, that was crazy! I thought that pony Rarity just found gems and stitched shit!" A pegasus remarked.

"She does, that's literally all she does. There must be something else in the juices." Rainbow remarked.

Twilight flattened herself against the bottom as much as she could, as Dr. Whooves looked down at her with confusion.

"You know, I think there is something. It's bulging out of the water." He said.

The other pegasi listened and walked over to the doctor. Twilight knew they'd find out soon. She knew they'd gut her, kill her, like everypony else. Twilight closed her eyes again, hoping they would go away. They didn't, they just looked down at her.

"Oh my god… that isn't-"Rainbow Dash began to smile with joy.

Twilight wouldn't wait any longer. Without hesitating, she lunged out of the water and immediately grabbed Rainbow's wings with both hooves. The other pegasi recoiled, some even falling onto the ground. Twilight quickly bent Rainbow's wings down so she couldn't flap out, and then twisted the wings back at the wrong angle. Both wings gave out a loud crack, while Rainbow screamed in pain, with a smile still across her face. Rainbow thought quickly and took Twilight's broken horn in her mouth, then bit down hardly. Twilight shrieked as she felt warm blood run down her face. The unicorn lifted her bruised leg and swung it into Rainbow's stomach, the bone shard ripping into Rainbow's flesh as Twilight gave another scream from the pain. Rainbow also screamed, letting go of Twilight's horn in the process. The tortured unicorn saw this as a great opportunity, so with one quick movement she twisted Rainbow's wings harder and sliced a line in her stomach with her knee bone. Rainbow whined more and Twilight broke away from her grip, slipping on Rarity's blood. She stared down at her knee, where the bone had now bent from the impact and bleeding profusely. Twilight ran as quickly as she could out the door, slipping with each step. Rainbow just watched her run.

"Let's go after her!" One pegasus said.

"No… I will get her. I have her wits now. I can do everything she can…" Rainbow smiled and started following the bloody trail that led out of the room.

Twilight ran through the many dark rooms. Each looked the exact same with no new features. Twilight slipped and slid across the floor with almost every step, forcing her to put pressure on her bad leg. Twilight just wanted this to be over. Twilight wished she could just get out already, but even if she did half her friends would still be dead and the other half would still be trying to kill her. She had nothing once she stepped into the light of day. What would she do? Who would she go to? What about Princess Celestia? Would alicorns be in on this plan? How would that work, since they would half unicorn and everything? So many questions ran through Twilight's mind as she kept forcing herself to put one hoof in front of the other.

Twilight continually walked forward, looking at the ground… thinking. Not paying attention, her horn collided with an object, making Twilight scream and jump back out of pain and terror. As she looked up, wondering about all the terrible things that would greet her, she thankfully saw that a wooden door was the only thing that hurt her… within the past minute.

Twilight threw open the door quickly, not stopping to consider what would be on the other side since she didn't want the sound of footsteps behind her to grow any louder. Twilight saw the room as shelter, since it was the first one with a door, or to Twilight, a blockade. Twilight rushed in and slammed the door behind her, right before grabbing a convenient wooden block lying next to the door. She carefully slid the block into a hinge on the door, making an easy medieval lock.

Twilight quietly watched the door for a minute until she heard somebody softly knocking, then the sound of a terrifying voice.

"Scootaloo? Scootaloo, is Twilight in there with you?"

Twilight was now very confused. She thought Rainbow was messing with her until she heard another voice, very clearly.

"Yes! Dash! Come quick!"

Dash turned in horror as she saw in the one dark corner she hasn't looked at before… this one was even darker than the room itself. As Twilight's eyes soon adjusted she saw another white figure. This one was a sister… to a pony now splattered over the walls. There… lying on the same table Twilight was on… was Sweetie Belle, Rarity's dear sister.

Twilight couldn't believe a little filly would do anything like this, especially to her best friend. Sweetie Belle was trying to inhale any air, having great trouble doing so. Each of her arms had gigantic gashes stretching across the entire skin. Twilight noticed her arms looked extremely flat, and soon after figured out why. Scootaloo bare handedly ripped out every bone in each of Sweetie Belle's limbs. A mass heap of bones slicked in blood and strands of tendons and veins lay in a pile next to the table. Twilight looked up to her gasping face and saw blood curling down her cheeks, flowing from both her eyes. Twilight felt faint as she saw the two skinny needles implanted directly through her pupils. Sweetie kept trying to blink or close her eyes, the two needles being the only things stopping her. Sweetie's eyes looked burning red as the dirty air around her forced itself on her eyes with no way of stopping it. Sweetie had no choice but to sit back and wait to finish, not being able to control anything but her torso and head, which she was too weak to do.

"Alright Scoot; I'm coming through the other door. Wait for me!" Rainbow shouted through the walls.

Twilight cringed once Rainbow mentioned another door, and soon thoughts of giving up started hitting her again, but she told herself that that wouldn't happen.

"Scootaloo? Where are you, Scootaloo?" Twilight called in Sweetie's direction.

A few seconds of silence passed, then Twilight heard the filly's voice again, "Twilight, don't hurt me."

"I won't hurt you Scootaloo, just tell me where the exits are."

A brown pegasus stepped out of the darkness and stood directly next to Sweetie's body. Scootaloo was drenched in blood, her mane glistening under the single light that lit up the small portion of the room.

"There are no exits Twilight, not for you." Scootaloo whispered eerily, not letting her eyes off Twilight's.

"Scootaloo, did you do this?" Twilight said, looking once again at the half dead pony.

"I did. I called her the moment I met her. Why else would a cool pony like me hang out with a nerd like her? It didn't help when that loser Applebloom decided to join us. I personally liked the company, but I've specifically waited for this very moment."

Scootaloo turned to Sweetie Belle, still wide eyed as if stunned, and started stroking Sweetie's mane softly. Twilight saw the two needles move quickly through the air, indicating Sweetie was moving her eyes rapidly, trying to tell what was happening. Scootaloo just stood there stroking her, then started singing softly.

"We are the Cutie Mark Crusaders… on a quest to find out who we are… and we will never stop the journey… not until we have our cutie marks."

Scootaloo only repeated these lines, over and over. Twilight could do nothing but watch until she heard a creaking sound at the other end of the room. The unicorn gasped as she saw a door hidden in the concrete wall open with swift movement, and Rainbow Dash stepping into the room. Twilight quietly crept over to a darkened corner of the room and watched Rainbow Dash approach Scootaloo.

"Where is she…?" Rainbow growled through gritted teeth.

Scootaloo didn't even look up, she just continued stroking and singing. Twilight saw this as her only opportunity. She quietly snuck through the darkness, making sure to stay as close to the wall and as far from the light as possible as Rainbow snapped at Scootaloo. The unicorn solemnly stepped passed the table, passed the dying pony, passed the two insane ponies and finally stepped foot into the light, right beside the door. As her purple mane shined into visibility she noticed that she was hidden from Rainbow Dash's view, but not from Scootaloo's. Twilight froze and held her breath as she looked into the eyes of the brown pegasus, who looked directly back. Scootaloo stopped singing the anthem, and instead whispered to Rainbow.

"She's- behind you…"

Twilight got stricken with terror as she saw the Rainbow pony slowly turn around. Twilight immediately lunged for the door, but as soon as she put one hoof in front of the other to start sprinting her blood smothered hoof slid on the floor, and instead of running she just plopped to the ground. Twilight glanced back to notice Rainbow staring back at her, grinning maniacally. Twilight tried to pick herself up only to slip again. Okay… once more. This time she managed to stand up on all fours, but before she even thought of escaping the concrete door slammed shut, an aura of purple glow surrounding it. Needing another exit, Twilight glanced back at the first door she entered through, only to be met eye to eye with Rainbow Dash, who grabbed her by the neck with her hoof. With her brute strength and power over Twilight, Rainbow pulled the helpless pony closer to her face, now pressing their blood covered snouts together.

"Listen up," Rainbow growled, "I have all you're magic now, plus my amazing strength, my cunning wits, and my naturally good looks. I can do everything you can do, and I can so, so much more."

Twilight chuckled sarcastically, "You can't fly."

Rainbow's favorable smile turned into a menacing look. To Twilight, all her expressions were menacing now. Rainbow must have gotten overwhelmed with rage, since she jerked Twilight's head back from hers painfully. Twilight watched as a new purple aura lit up the darkness, but tried not to when she noticed it was the metal needle plowed in Sweetie's eyes. The bloody implement rose from her face, taking the eyeball with it. Sweetie shrieked in pain and tried to flail what was left of her arms as she suddenly jolted back into consciousness. The optic nerve attaching her eye to her brain pulled at itself until willingly snapping, freeing the body part from the body. Blood gushed as the ripped nerve hung loosely over the side of her eye, spilling the red fluid across the table. Rainbow flew the needle through the air and hurtled it at Twilight's neck.

Thinking fast, Twilight used her own magic to catch the weapon in midair and flip it around, now the dismembered eye staring right at her. The object floated there unmoving, both ponies using all their magic to force the needle in the other's direction.

"Like you said Rainbow, you have all my magic. We both have the same strength, and now I recommend you let me fly away, since I know you can't." Twilight laughed while slowly backing away, not breaking eye contact with Rainbow.

Twilight used another portion of magic to swing the door back open, then cautiously backed out of it. Rainbow just stood there watching, knowing she couldn't do anything. After Twilight was completely outside the room and into more darkness she took all her magic off the needle and switched it to force the door shut, the needle flinging into the concrete and snapping upon impact. On the other side, Rainbow screamed in anger and ran towards the door, only to slip on the pool of Rarity's blood Twilight was standing in. Her legs gave way and she fell flat on her wing, twisting it even more and giving away a loud crack. Rainbow shrieked in pain and immediately picked herself up and bolted out the door, sprinting almost as fast as she could fly out of pure anger and fear of defeat.

Twilight continued sprinting down the hallway. The blood on her hooves finally wiped away and now Twilight was just eager to run… anywhere away from Rainbow Dash. What once was one of her best friends was now chasing her down a hallway, wanting nothing more but having that unicorn's head. By now the only ponies she could trust were the earth ponies, since they weren't deceased and/or murderers. Twilight just wanted to sprint back to the fierce Applejack and the silly Pinkie Pie, but even then she would have the guilt of leaving five friends behind to die. Twilight felt warm liquid running down her cheeks, and for once, it wasn't blood.

Twilight wasn't much of a runner; in fact, she hasn't run anything since the running of the leaves. Twilight was not cut out for this, so she relieved when she finally saw something… a light. This light was not eerie or threatening, this light was warm and welcome, lying at the top of a concrete staircase. Without looking back at Rainbow, who was quickly catching up to her, Twilight quickly ran the steps… one by one.

The light shined through in a small line segment, releasing a thin, vertical ray across the steps which Twilight was following. She was now halfway up the stairs, and could see very little through the crack, but it was still something. The crack seemed as if it led to the inside of a house. There was yellow wallpaper, very little furniture, and overall a warm sensation. Twilight finally placed both her front hooves on the top stair, and with more magic she flung open what now was known as a door. The heavy door slowly creaked open and Twilight gasped when she saw where she was.

Her vision did take some time to adjust to the fluorescent lights pouring down on her, but as they did she looked around the hollow tree. There were chirping birds, squirrels running up and down the stairs, little frogs jumping on the sofa, and the crazed feeling of being in her dead friend's house.

Twilight had no time to react. She must have been out for a while, since outside each window was a darkened sky. She ran past three mice and took a hold of a bookcase next to the door with her magic. She crashed the bookcase down in front of the entrance, birds chirping and trying to frantically flap out before the structure collapsed. The bookcase landed right before Rainbow got up the stairs, making her jump back in surprise.

"C'mon Twilight! I knew you'd be hard to control, but this has been over the top."

Twilight quickly ran to the door which led outside, eager to seek help and shelter. As soon as Twilight used more magic to swing open the door, Rainbow just shut it again. Twilight could feel the cool breeze of freedom for one quick moment, but by now she was ready to believe that would be the most freedom she'd feel all night. Twilight looked back at the trapped pegasus, only to find her blow down the bookcase with another magic blast. Books scattered across the ground and slid to Twilight's feet, as Rainbow Dash stepped over the toppled bookcase and stepped towards the helpless pony. Rainbow crushed a squealing chipmunk underneath her hooves as she placed a hoof on the ground. Without realizing what she's done, Rainbow slipped on the blood from the rodent as she tried to take another step forward. She lost her balance quickly as landed directly upon the tip of her broken wing, snapping it back and shattering the base. Rainbow flipped herself over in a spasm as she shrieked in pain, struggling to get to her feet.

Twilight flung herself at the door, not using her magic but her single hooves to pull it open. The door was extremely light compared to all the ones she's been rushing through. She took a deep breath of fresh air and began to step outside, the cool night air surrounding her completely. As she stepped half her body outside, she noticed her friend talking to her from behind. Twilight turned her neck to look at Rainbow, who had a hoof hanging in midair dripping blood across the floor.

"Hey Twilight," She began, "You shouldn't listen to your nightmare talk… you should've just ran."

Twilight didn't even process what Rainbow was talking about before the door slammed into her side. Twilight's legs slipped out from under her as her torso got crushed by the pressed door. She tried to scream but all that came out was the sound of her losing her breath, wheezing. As she tried to get off the floor and run she noticed a dark figure walking in the night.

"Hey you!" Twilight finally found the strength to scream. "Help m-"

She was interrupted by the feeling of cold hooves pressed up against her legs, and the sensation of being dragged across the cold floor. When Twilight looked up again she was met with the rainbow pegasus swinging a large metal bar at her face, then, all went dark.

Rainbow Dash was standing in a pool of blood, and by now you could never tell whose it was. She was panting vigorously, standing there gripping the dribbling bar. Rainbow wiped some of the blood splatter away from her eyes as she stared down at Twilight, who's jaw was now bent to its extent and pouring out the red liquid. Rainbow took both of Twilight's front hooves and started dragging her corpse to the dark area surrounding the door to the torture chambers. Rainbow dropped the body on the edge of the staircase and prepared to kick it down, until something made her froze in surprise… Fluttershy's doorbell. The noise exploded down the dark corridor and echoed back to Rainbow multiple times.

Rainbow walked back and swung open the door with one hoof, for whoever was on the other side would not expect a pegasus pony to use magic. Greeting her on the other side was a pony Rainbow was not familiar with, complete with reddish fur and a dark red mane… but more importantly the pony had a horn perched on her scalp.

"Excuse me, I'm new to Ponyville and I was just looking at the scenery when I swear I saw a pony scream at me from this…" The unicorn paused as her eyes ran down Rainbow's body. "What are you covered in?"

Rainbow was barely paying attention. She was too busy staring at the pony's beautiful plump horn. Rainbow snapped back into reality and realized she had to make up an excuse. She thought quickly for something to explain her atrocious body, and her pink eyes darted around the room until they landed on the unicorn's flank… set with a cutie mark of three cherries lined up diagonally.

Thinking fast, Rainbow spoke smoothly, "Yes, well, me and that pony are actually… partners. We are working on a new cherry sauce for ice cream, and we needed your help since you seem like SUCH an experienced pony!"

A smile spread across the unicorn's face.

"Yes! Yes, yes, yes, yes, YES I'd love to help! My name is Cherry by the way."

Rainbow Dash returned a smile and opened the door wide, setting the welcoming mood throughout the house.

"Cherry, come on in, Cherry!" Rainbow Dash waved Cherry inside with one hoof, and with the other she held the concealed metal bar behind her back, still dripping with Twilight's blood… which was now pooling outside the door and passed the trusted pony now entering the house. The blood now circled around the grass and dripped down a cement road, part of Twilight finally being set free.
