I-Pin's Nii-san
I-Pin was often bullied at school for being different. Unlike other students, she was very devoted to her part time job that her classmates speculated lowly of her family background. With all of these, the girl just controlled herself.
She wants to live a normal civilian life, not the assassin she was when she was younger.
Not as Fon's gifted student.
And most definitely not as someone who has ties with the Mafia.
True, she keeps contact with some Vongola members who treated her as family. Tsuna even offered her help especially in her studies but she politely declined.
"Tsuna-nii, I do approciate your help but I want to be independent."
Tsuna only smiled as he saw determination in her eyes. He understood her wishes after all, he was once like that.
A pereson who does not want to invole in this bloody history.
"I understand, I-Pin but do not hesitate to ask for my help"
"But, Tsuna-nii…"
"I will help you as your nii-san, not as Vongola Decimo. You are after all, my family"
"Thank you, Tsuna-nii!"
The Chinese girl really respects and adores her Tsuna-nii very much! He was not dame as he was before but he still remains as the kind and warm Sky he was before.
She sighed. She has a problem now. Her group, composing of five members including her, was supposed to interview a high rankig person in the business world. Three of the members often pick on I-Pin for their amusement.
"My dad's a manager for shobiz personalities and mom is a model. Unfortunately that's not accountable" Usami Kana said looking smug as she sent a dirty look at I-Pin.
"Really? Haha, can you help me get an autograph?" Tanaka Daisuke joked and laughed when he saw how Kana sent I-Pin the dirty look.
"Will the two of you get serious?" Adachi Leia frowned. "Dai-kun and my parents are often away for business trips so they won't be a big help."
"Umm," Michikago Hiro called their attention "My father works at V.F. Corporation as a branch manager, he could probabbly help."
The others, except I-Pin widened their eyes. V.F. Corporation has a lot of connections in the field of business (from fashion, food, gadgets etc.), governments and education. Name it, they got it. I-Pin blinked. She never knew her classmate has a connection with that corporation.
V.F. Corporation stands for Vongola Famiglia, a company that hides the true purpose of the mafia family that runs it. You would think that Vongola is affluent with money from the start? No, they also need a cover to the surface world.
"I-Pin-san?" Hiro called her attention
"Eh? Ah sorry, I was just thinking about my job."
"Hmph, don't embarrass us." Kana smirked "Considering that you do not have proper breeding, I'm sure you don't know how to act prim and proper."
Leia and Daisuke laughed at that statement. I-Pin wanted to retort that her nii-san owns the Vongola, both the corporation and the mafia. But she shut her mouth. They won't believe her anyway.
"Hey, you should not bully I-Pin-san! It's quite rude." Hiro lightly scolded but they just ignored him. He sighed, seriously, why do they bully the girl much? And why won't I-Pin defend herself. (Oh, if only he knew what she can do.)
"Anyways, Dad is free today so we might as well do the interview."
When the three arrived at Hiro's father's office, they gawked. Sure the office was simple but it was screaming high-class!
The V.F. Corporation was really no slouch in regards to luxury.
"Michikago-san, you have a very marvelous office," Kana smiled winnigsomely as the elder man smiled in return.
"Well, thank you but all of these are ideas from my boss, Sawada-sama" He said as he motioned them to sit down. A ver good-looking lady, most likely Michikago-san's secretary, brought them tea.
"What kind of person is your boss?" Daisuke asked, curious.
"Well, he is a very kind person." Hiro answered since he met the brunette before. "He is not like other bosses who act high and mighty. Sawada-san is humble and considerate towards his subordinates."
"Haha, he's not the type I would like to anger though." Michikago added good naturally as the father-son duo shared knowing smiles. They knew what V.F. truly is, a mafia famiglia.
"Excuse me sir," the previous lady entered bowing "Sawada-sama arrived."
"He didn't give a call"
The lady only smiled, "It seems that he just came to visit. Well then, please excuse me."
As the nice lady exited, a handsome brunette with amber eyes entered accompanied by a georgeous silver haired man. The two girls in the room blushed. The men could pass as models or actors any day!
"It's been for a while, Michikago-san and Hiro-kun." He greeted "And since you have student companions, I assume that they have an assignment."
He's sharp!
The occupants of the room were drawn to his eyes. Eyes like they could read your soul, making you feel guilty to whatever wrong you'v e done.
"I'm glad you're doing well, I-Pin. I guess Lambo was just exageratting when he talks about you."
(Cue widening of eyes at that statement save for Gokudera)
"Fon-san was really worried about you but it seems you're happy with your independence" Tsuna chuckled
I-Pin blushed at the metion of her mentor, her father figure.
"Please tell Master I'm doing well. Aah- thanks for your help too Tsuna-nii but you don't need to offer me scholarship and all. I'm fine"
This time, Gokudera growled, annoyed that the brat has the guts to turn down Juudaime's good intentions.
"Hey, Juudaime had bothered with all of these so you better accept it."
Tsuna smiled "We're family after all I-Pin and I do not intend to abandon family."
I-Pin was genuinely touched. She keeps hearing those words but it still pulls strings to her heart. One look at her Tsuna-nii's eyes, she knew she can't hide anything. He knows the real reason why she won't accept his help and assistance.
She does not want anything to do with the mafia.
However, she was wrong. Whether she likes it or not, she would always be connected to that world.
She does not hate it though.
After all, that world brought her family. First Fon-sensei then Tsuna-nii, Maman and the others.
"Then Tsuna-nii, would you help us with our assignment?"
Tsuna agreed easily.
From that time on, I-Pin's bullies lessened when they heard that the girl had an influential brother figure. That and when a kidapper attempted to abduct her for ransom… let's just say that the said kidnapper ended up in a hospital for months. Not to mention he had also unwittingly angered a kind boss who can be sadistic when provoked.
