In the next few chapters, I will explain everything from the different types of demons, to the League-Monsters, to Gods and Goddesses, customs of the worlds and even that crazy little thing called love. Sound fun? It should! No one knows this stuff better than me!
To kick things off, I will explain who and what exactly I am, since I am very special.
You see, not too long ago, my home, Aerisia got attack by a bunch of mean and evil people. My mom kind of let them in, which wasn't very nice. I still don't understand why, but my sister, Jen-Jen tells me not to think about it too much. She says "Sometimes, Leta, people do things that aren't very nice without a reason why."
Anywho, I ended up dieing when my home was attacked and I ascended, like most demons do. You see, when a demon dies, they can either ascend to the stars or they can wonder around the world for a while as a ghost. Demons who ascend can still visit people who need their help, but they can't stay that long. Something about energy fields not being able to handle and a bunch of senseless junk like that.
Now, usually when a demon ascends, they listen to the council of their ancestors and decide as a group how to keep the universe from spiralling out of control and destroying itself. Well, I didn't agree with my dad and the rest of the council. They wanted to keep Jen-Jen and Hiei-dessi apart! Isn't that awful?
My dad has gotten kind of bitter since my mom kind of killed him and all. I tried to tell him what Jen-Jen told me but he didn't listen! He said, "Love doesn't exist. All anyone is trying to do is get ahead in the world."
I think that is stupid, don't you? Hiei-dessi said he used to feel the same way, but I think that is just because he has never loved before. I'm not worried about him though. He's with my Jen-Jen, who is the most loving person ever! Well, unless you stand in her way. You don't get any loves from her if you stand in her way.
Back to me, though! So the council was plotting to drive Jen-Jen and Hiei-dessi apart, so I went and warned Hiei-dessi about it. When my dad found out, he got really mad and cast me out of the council, taking away my ascension.
Since then, I have been hanging out with Jen-Jen and Hiei-dessi, protecting them and guiding them. I'm like their little guardian angel!
Hiei-dessi is my favorite to be around. He acts like he doesn't really care about anyone, but I know better. Hiei-dessi cares a lot for all of his friends, and especially my sissy.
Anywho, I get to play a big part in the story and we are going to have lots of fun learning everything there is to know about the worlds. Koenma says if I'm a good girl and help all of you understand everything, I might even get my body back! Wouldn't that be great? Though I kinda like being all blue and being able to float around and go anywhere I want. I miss eating candy though.
So you better understand everything! 'Cause I want some candy! Be sure to tell Koenma that I am doing a good job so I can be a real girl again, okay? Thanks!
