I got this idea after watching episode 13 of season 3 (for the third time, first time with my girlfriend) and I noticed that Neal didn't do anything with the eyeshadow he paid the stripper for. It's also partially inspired by the fact that I'm a dude who wears makeup. I love eyeshadow and lipstick, it's nothing fancy but it's fun.

When Neal walked into the FBI building he had an extra pep in his step. He was smiling brighter than usual, hat on his head and suit freshly pressed. He looked good. Peter motioned him up to his office. Neal grinned and jogged up the steps to his office.

"What's up Peter?" Neal asks chipperly.

"We have a new c-what is that?" Peter responds, pointing towards Neal.

Confused, Neal turns around and looks behind himself. Seeing nothing suspicious he gives Peter a frown. "You know it's not Halloween right?"

"I think the better question is if you know that," Peter responds. "What is that on your face?"

"Oh, this?" Neal grins. "Decided to dabble in some makeup, looks good no?"

"Yes it-why are you wearing it?" Peter's expression is almost comical.

"Like I said I-"

"Yeah, dabbling in makeup. But why is it on you? No, shut your mouth, no more snark, you've snarked your last snark today," Peter scowls. "Take it off."

"What? Why?" Neal looks at Peter, surprised. "You said it looks good!"

"Glitter isn't exactly FBI," Peter stresses.

Neal squints at him. "No, it's something else. You're jealous." He grins again. "You're just jealous I can pull off blue. You have to admit it really makes my eyes pop and-"

"Shut up," Peter scowls deeply. "I should throw you back in prison."

"For being fabulous?"

"For being a pain in the ass." Peter deadpans.

I wanted this to be longer but oh well. Someone find the cure to insomnia for me, I do stupid stuff past 2am like put toothpaste on my face for no reason. It smells good but it's still a stupid thing. And my mom's sleeping on the couch so I can't really clean it off right now. Oh well.

I hope I didn't butcher their characters too much, it's my first time writing them.
