Chapter One- Katie s POV
I woke up to the shrieks of my younger sisters as they woke up. I should have been expecting this, i mean what little kid doesn't wake up at 6 o'clock on Christmas morning? It was a perfect Christmas for me. I woke up to the smell of bacon and it was even snowing outside! I might be 16 years old, but when it snows i act like the 6 year old i am at heart. Me and my sisters ran outside while Mom finished making had been an exciting day, but my whole family was coming over for dinner, so it should be interesting.
It was 5 o clock when my grandmother arrived along with my aunt. By 6 o'clock, everyone had arrived and we began to open more presents. Already, i have received a Vas Happenin sweatshirt, the Up All Night album, the One Direction book and several 1D posters. I didn t think my Christmas could get any better when my Aunt Casey handed me a small yellow envelope. i opened it and what i held in my hand made my jaw drop. Could it really be true? In my hand i held four fourth row tickets to the One Direction Concert at Madison Square Garden. .God. AUNT CASEY I LOVE YOU! i leaped into her arms. She tried to calm me down, Im so happy you re excited! Why dont you go call your friends and tell them This was a good idea. I ran upstairs to my bed room and started a 4 way phone call. Once Sarah, Jessie and Annie were on the phone, i screamed and told them the news. They screamed as well and we all began texting for the rest of the night, carefully planning what we were gonna wear to the concert. I could not contain my excitement.
I put the tickets away and finished dinner, but i couldn't concentrate on anything but the concert! it was in only 3 days! So much to do, so little time. The very first thing to do, though, was blog about it.
