Hi there, yup I'm making a Spider-man in DC universe story. Anywho, this is my first time doing anything other than a Naruto story so any form of information in what I need to work on would help immensely in regards to me writing this story. Hopefully it's moderately well and I will see you all later.
I do not own Spider-man/Marvel/DCU
"Speaking"
"Thinking"
"Spider-man, Spider-man, does whatever a spider can." Whistled a brown haired adult as he began to stretch in his comfy brown haired chair as he ran his eyes down over the blueprints he had just finished written up.
"Ok… This… This is good… This is definitely something that I need. I shouldn't have waited until I've nearly died over a few dozen or so times before I started to actually augment myself to keep myself safe while I swung around." Muttered the man, his eyes taking in all the features he had been listing whilst also thinking up on anymore improvements that may come in handy.
But, before we go any further. Who is this man you may ask? Well, to the ordinary eye, this young gentleman was an average person who was gifted with a bright mind.
Standing at 5'10, brown hair and hazel eyes with a rather pale complexion, which was hidden underneath a rather long grey top and black jeans with a pair of black leather loafers.
The gentleman's name, was Peter Benjamin Parker. The amazing Spider-man.
Running his hand through his hair, Peter couldn't help but let a sigh slip passed his lips as he once more ran his eyes over his designs.
"… I can't believe I waited this long to actually think about how much of a threat my rogues are. I mean… If I hadn't been on that mission with the avengers where we helped another universe… I probably would have been ignorant to the threats a few of my rogues could achieve." Muttered Peter with a grunt as he looked up towards the blue coloured plates of his lab.
"… Thank god Max leaves us alone as long as we create projects that make a profit…" Remarked Peter as he glanced over his designs.
"New spider suit that actually protects me against a range of different things, web-shooters that have more than a single setting and finally… A device that will actually try increase my strength seeing as how nearly everyone I now nowadays seems to have a boost in ability… I can't be left with my original pallet, but at the same time I can't go too crazy in trying to boost my spider powers either." Muttered Peter as his eyes began to trail his new suit design.
Overall, the suit was a combination of multiple things. At its base form, it had no designs. The reason for that? Well… Because the suit, when it was created, would be a fusion of unstable molecules, non-sentient symbiote type armour and finally additional adjustments that would allow it to regulate his body and give him, hopefully, some much needed medical attention mid-battle, kind of like how both the venom symbiote and anti-venom symbiote could provide.
Alongside that, his web-shooters were also going to be getting a larger upgrade. Rather than just having only plain webbing, in combination of his suit, while his web fluid was going to remain mostly untouched, the web-shooters would allow on the fly customisations to the properties of the web, allowing him to adjust the tensile strength of his web, the longevity of the webs and hopefully with enough tweaking, allowing addition "powers" along the lines of possibly Taser webs, acidic webs, and even web grenades and much… Much more.
Oh the possibilities were endless if he could perfect his suit and shooters. And with his current blueprints? Peter was that much more confident that this suit and web-shooters were a real possibility.
Finally, his last device was something akin to that of a miniature device that would basically allow him to passively absorb a type of energy that was in the most simplest of terms… A hyper-kinetic form of energy, which was tired into the forces of the universe's expansion, thus resulting in clean, near limitless power and energy. Something that could one day even surpass starks very own ARC reactor energy.
At least if Peter went public with it. But he held himself back because while this discovery would be incredibly useful to the world as a whole, if someone was able to directly tap into the power… That… That was a disaster waiting to happen. It was in fact why he himself didn't want to get into direct contact with the hyper-kinetic energy as he was unsure of the effect a large brunt of energy would do to any human being.
As such, Peter made sure to continuously adjust his findings regarding to the form of energy, truthfully as much as Peter wanted to deny it, he couldn't find a way to properly make sure the energy was used in the right way.
Which is why he set up a small meeting with Reed Richards to discuss the energy in detail, and if they managed to made any sort of headway in regards to making the energy safe and ONLY useful to powering the world's electricity, then he would go public with the discovery.
But then again, while the general use of the energy was to better the world, it didn't mean that he himself couldn't use the energy as a type of booster visa his suit. The process would basically have his suit be a sort of… Filter, which would then slowly allow his body to absorb minute amounts of his Parker particles giving him access to study the effects on his body.
Best case scenario? His powers get passively heightened. Worst case? The human body doesn't accept the energy and does nothing. Which would help him adjust his new form energy into a tool that would help better the world.
Shifting himself in his seat a bit, the brown haired adult couldn't help but chuckle as he glanced over towards a monitor in the corner of his lab, where he witnessed shocker getting his lights knocked out by his future counter-park Miguel O'Hara, the Spider-man of 2099… Who was trapped in his timeline for whatever the reason.
"It's a lot easier having someone else I can rely on to help look after the city. No offence to daredevil who sits in Hell's kitchen mostly and with Luke, Jess and Danny only looking after a small portion of the city at most." Remarked Peter as he grabbed his blue prints from the desk before making his way over towards a computer panel near the corner of his lab, which was hooked up to what appeared to be a holding vat with a single mannequin body standing perfectly still.
Alongside the vat, there was a small additional locker like attachment on the side of the machine.
"Ok… Ok let's give this a go…" Muttered the man as his fingers swiftly began to place inputs in the machine along with specific pieces of information.
Glancing between his blueprints and the console a few times, Peter finally finished off his inputs before glancing over towards the side attachment.
"Ok. Parker particles all set up. The machine is now mixing the components together for the suits material… Ok… Looks like the components have synchronised perfectly… Now, just to create the Web-shooters new material…" Muttered Peter, his hands flying over the keyboard as his eyes spent moments glancing towards the vat, watching as the clear white liquid began to drop from the top of the vat and onto the mannequin's body before hardening into what looked like a very sleek and shiny form of armour.
As Peter finished off the requirements for his new web shooters, he couldn't help but grin at his achievement. As he watched the mannequin's body fully submerged beneath the new suit material while on the side where his Parker particles machine was, a shiny new set of web-shooters, which were slightly larger, and MUCH more tech based now sat neatly in a glass container.
"Suit design 100% complete. EndoSym-Tech fully incorporated with unstable molecules. Please insert material dubbed "Parker Particles" to allow suit passive entwinement and generation." Spoke the monitor, getting a small nod from Peter as he hovered his finger over the commanding function… Before pressing down slightly, watching in awe as moments later, the vat began to glow in an aqua like colour as the hyper-kinetic energy began to flood the vat, before being slowly absorbed by the suit within the middle of the vat.
"Assimilation of dubbed, Parker Particles at 90%. 95%. 99%. Parker Particles successfully internode into suit function. Scanning for irregularities. No irregularities detected. User is now free to open the vat. Have a nice day Mr. Parker." Spoke the computer once more, getting a small cheer form Peter as he quickly moved himself over towards the large tubed vat, before opening the glass container where his eyes rested upon the sight of his newest suit.
Overall, the suit did still have its rather slim look, but it did now sport a more mechanical look too. However, until Peter actually gave the suit a command it would retain its fully white colour.
Reaching towards the suit, Peter watched with glee as the suit seemed drawn to him, which would normally make him shit himself since it was a bit eerily similar to how the Venom symbiote had once done, but this time, Peter was just simply amazed as he felt the suit wrap itself around him silently. In fact, he could actually feel the suits connection to himself the moment he was wrapped in the white substance.
Thankfully, he also noticed that the suit didn't have its own consciousness as he didn't suddenly feel like punching someone from out of nowhere.
Which was always a good sign.
"Ok Parker… This… This feels good… I can feel the hyper-kinetic energy within the suit being fed into my body. Hell, it's less than 1% but it feels as if I'm way stronger than I have ever been… I have to make sure I monitor my health from this point on… Ok, let's get onto the design." Thought the man with a small breath of air as he noticed that he couldn't actually see anything at the present time.
So, first on his list. He needed his vision. But, while he was at it, he also noticed that his traditional wide eye lenses wouldn't cut it.
It was a new suit after all… A suit that would give him multiple advantages alongside a better HUD than his other previous spider-suits due to the combined nature of different technologies he had incorporated into the suit.
Shutting his eyes for a moment, Peter let his mind run wild for the briefest of seconds.
What should his suit look like? Would it have a different colour than his traditional red and blue? Would his colour even matter since he could change it on the fly? Should he show the suit to be more mechanical and armour based over the slim spandex like look he originally had? Would it even matter due to the suit's mass being the same even if it did look like spandex?
Either way, before Peter had a chance of openly asking himself these questions, the moment he opened his eyes he couldn't help but blink in awe at his new suit.
His suit, looked like a mixture of thin armour and spandex. It had a more armoured look due to the indents of the suit separating different body parts, but at the same time it was tight and form fitting, allowing him, Peter, to retain his thin muscled look rather than a bulky one.
His suits colours were still the more traditional red and blue, however, they were infinitely much more metallic with the red and blue being a little darker, tone wise in comparison to his bright red and blue colours.
His spider emblem, which was a pitch black in colour, was in a similar state to the indents he mentioned prior in the suits overall design, as the legs of the spider seemed to separate his body into different sections, giving him a nice metallic look and design.
His mask's eyes were a little bit thinner, however, they still retained their white lenses.
The only massive change he noticed however, was that due to the overall design of the suit, there wasn't a single place that he could have his traditional black spider-web like motive covering his body. And considering how the suit was shaped, Peter thought it was best to leave the webs out of it for the time being. (1)
Stretching his body a bit, the young man couldn't help but marvel as he watched the suit move in tangent to him. His movements looked so in sync with is body it was as if he wasn't wearing anything at all. There wasn't even a minor stretch that he dealt with when he used his traditional suits.
"Ok… Let's give this new suit a test drive. But first. Let's hook up my suit's information banks up." Spoke Peter softly as he moved over towards his desktop computer screen with a small smile beneath his red mask.
Reaching out towards the tower of his computer, Peter watched happily as he reached towards the tower, a single thought from him created what looked to be a device similar to a USB stretch out from the back of his hand and soon latched itself to the console.
And within moments, the HUD in Peters mask lit right up as multiple reports of crime had appeared in his lenses' vision.
Nodding his head, Peter shut his eyes for a single moment before letting out a grin.
"Ok… Time to show the world the new and improved Spider-man." Muttered the young man as he slowly opened his eyes…
Only to widen them in complete and utter shock as he found himself standing on a rooftop with the only source of light coming from above him was the moon.
"What the hell."
And that's it for this chapter… Yeah I wanted to give myself a go at a spider-man story. Note, the suit that Peter is wearing is the Velocity suit shown as the third and final pre-order suit from Spider-man ps4, only instead of Red and Grey, its Red and Blue, with the blue being a similar tone to the grey.
It should also be noted that this is simply a prologue chapter. Anywho, place your reviews saying what's good, what's bad, and what can be worked up on and yeah… I'll see you all in the next chapter.
