It's been quite a while, but I have taken suggestions to mind and I decided that I might as well write a sequel to the one-shot I wrote, You're Perfect. This is the story of what is happening with Ned at the same time as the other was with Moze.
Ned's POV
After finally escaping three big "sumo wrestlers", I was walking down the hallway, in search of Moze. I wanted to make sure that she was okay. However, I figured that she was when I saw her in a lip-lock with one of the sumo guys himself, Billy Loomer. Hey, maybe this will make him less likely to beat me up!
I decided not to interrupt them, so I continued down the hall, making my way to my class, when I was rudely gabbed and shoved into Gordy's janitor closet. I turned around, expecting to find Gordy with some insane scheme up his sleeve that I would gladly be a part of, but who I found, was Missy.
"Missy, what's going on?"
She looked up at me with puppy dog eyes. "What makes Jennifer better than me for you?"
I didn't really know how to answer that, seeing as though Moze and I were only fake-going-out. I mean, lately I have been sort of thinking I might like Moze, but that's really because with Suzie gone, she's the only girl I've kissed. I don't really see us as more than friends, sometimes friends with benefits.
"She's not." I replied simply. Wait, what? Is that saying tha I would rather Missy over Moze. Well, I guess I would. Maybe. I can't be sure. Then, why did I try so hard not to get Missy to date and like me? Maybe it's from missing Suzie. That must be it, I haven't been ready for a real relationship. After all, I have liked Suzie forever. Although, Missy likes me, so maybe I should go with it. I am so confused!
"Then why date her but not me?"
"I'm not going to lie to you, Missy. The truth is that we were never really dating. I just wanted to distract you."
"You don't like me?"
"I don't honestly know. I am hung up on Suzie."
"What makes her better than me, then?"
"You have to understand that she was both my first crush and my first official girlfriend, Missy, so I was just not over her. I mean she only recently moved away, and I felt as though a part of me had gone missing."
"Wait, was, felt, that's past tense."
"I know. I think that I just now realized that she was my first for a lot, but she hasn't prevented my heart from liking or loving another."
"SO I have a chance?"
"Yes, yes you do."
And in one swift motion I swooped down and enveloped her in a mind-blowing kiss that made Moze's seem like nothing. It even strongly compared to Suzie, so I think I've found myself a new girlfriend.
We pulled apart.
"SO, do you want to be my girlfriend?"
"Of course." She replied simply and kissed me again.
Just then, the door opened, and in walked Gordy, whistling. "Whoa!" He exclaimed when he saw us kissing, so we quickly split apart. "Sorry about that guys."
"No problem," I replied, blushing. "We were just heading back to class."
And off we went, Polk Middle School's newest couple.
So, what do you guys think? I hope you like it as much as the first one. PLEASE REVIEW! Only ten people reviewed the other story and over 200 of you clicked on it, so please review so that I know it didn't suck. I'm not a huge nedxmissy fan, but one of the reviews requested it and many of you wanted a sequel, so this is what you get.
