Beth stared at Dawn, finally understanding everything. All Dawn wanted was to help and protect herself. And she was doing that by using Beth and Carol for Noah. Dawn never cared about them. In that moment, Beth understood what she had to do, even if it cost her life. She let go of Noah.

"I get it now," Beth uttered. She slowly walked up to Dawn, feeling the cold of the scissors pressed against her arm beneath the cast. She stood in front of Dawn, looking deep into the eyes that held fake kindness, the façade for the evil of selfishness.

Beth could feel the presence of the people she cared about behind her, as she raised her arm to pull out the sharp tool. Feeling the metal slide against her skin, Beth made a list of the things she cared about, seeing her life flash before her eyes as she stuck the scissors into Dawn's neck, only to feel a quick pain, before her world turned to black.

The silence surrounded her as Beth floated in nothingness, only a speck against millions of others. Her sight slowly became blond hair. She backed a bit away from the scene, seeing the group and… herself… in Daryl's arms.

Beth's hands flew up to her mouth as she spotted the red spot on the back of her head, however, she was distracted as she finally noticed they were outside. Beth could hear the sounds of crying; loud, nerve-wracking sob.

Beth turned to see Maggie on the ground, a discarded shotgun lying next to her. Glenn and another girl were comforting her. Beth walked over to Maggie, resting a hand on her shoulder. Beth realized what happened, and after giving Maggie a hug they both couldn't feel (Beth had no sense of touch, she couldn't feel, or smell anything), she walked back to Daryl, who was standing in silence, staring at her body.

Beth stood on tiptoes, giving Daryl one last kiss on the cheek, before her vision faded to white, and Beth floated up, reaching the gates of heaven.
