Percy and I have been married a month now but he was still trying to find excuses to kiss me.

I was walking out of our bedroom in the morning with Percy when he stopped me and pointed to the mistletoe above our heads. I leaned up and kissed him quickly before heading into the kitchen to find something to make for breakfast.

When I walked out of the kitchen I saw that Percy had moved to mistletoe from above out doorway to above the kitchen doorway. I decided not to say anything and just kissed him.

Twenty minutes later

I walked out the apartment door with a laundry basket in hand to bring to the laundry room on the first floor. I started the wash and headed back up to our floor. When I got through the door I saw once again that Percy had moved the mistletoe to the apartment doorway.

He was waiting with the look of an excited puppy.

"Percy! You have to stop taking a mistletoe down and putting it somewhere else every ten seconds!" I complained.

"Fine," he said dragging out the word. "I will stop taking it down and putting it somewhere else."

"Okay. I'm going to go take a shower, and when I get out, that mistletoe better not be moved," I warned.

"It won't." Percy said with a mischievous smile.

When I had taken my shower, dried off, and put on my clothes, I stepped out of my bedroom to a shocking scene.

On every possible space there was mistletoe. Under the one closest to me was Percy.

I stepped out to walk to the couch but before I took another step Percy stopped me.

"It's tradition, Annabeth. You have to do it." He smiled.

I sighed and reached up to kiss him.

I took another step, and kissed him, but he held it there a little longer than the first.

I went like that until I got to the couch. Each kisses longer than the one before it.

I finally got the couch and sat down. He cupped my face with one hand and brought my face a millimeter from his.

"I love you, Annabeth."

"You trying to sweet talk me to I will forgive you for all of this. Well it's not working. And I love you too." I smiled.

He closed the gap between us and kissed me like we only had today to live.

Maybe mistletoe wasn't such a bad thing.

A/N: So I know this is really short, but I haven't updated on my things in so long so I thought I would put this out. I know this isn't very well written, either, because I did it so quickly! There will probably be another thing about mistletoe that I will post. I got the idea of writing a thing about mistletoe from Coqui's Song's story, Underneath the Mistletoe. So go check it out because it is really good!

To Just Friends readers: I'm sorry that I haven't updated in about three or four months! School started and I got No, no, I'm not going to put that excuse because it is not good enough! If you want to give me an idea that would be so awesome!

Merry Christmas!
