Tears

Tears

They are shed for the fallen

For the brave and pure of heart

They are shed for the weak

Who try the most

They are shed for the strong

Protecting what's theirs

They are shed for the lost

Yearning for home

They are shed for the corrupted

With overpowering evil

They are shed for the small

Still wanting a friend

They are shed for the lonely

Missing their family

They are shed to the misguided

Lied to all their lives

They are shed for the truths

And for the ideals

Are for those waiting for the gaps to be filled

And after all the tears are shed

After all the strife is gone

One sob will escape

For love found

Only to be lost
