Preface: Tempted By The Light

This is a FF preface for a series called Psy Changling series by Nalini Singh I've bee reading and loved the characters so much I decided to add a few of my own to interact with them. Rated M for safety as there will be violence and romance to come.

Tempted By The Light.

What if a young woman from a powerful M grade phys family, had been ripped apart? Arrows sent in the dark to take her parents away for rehabilitation, as they are dragged away in front of herself and her younger brother. Her parents beg her using the family's secret mental pathway to keep her little brother safe, and to hide their real nature no matter the secretly, the Root of their healing power is empathy. Silence was never took not in their families, and they had kept it a secret from the council. She kept her promise and hid the full capabilities of her power, whilst shielding her brother from the net, and ultimately the council. It has been hard thought, to keep a silent facade under the close scrutiny of the cold phys. An accident cause their cover to be blown, and now they are on the run. Exhausted, hurt, and on the edge. After a car crash they stumble blindly, and unknowingly into a nearby Forrest that belongs to the infamous snowdancer pack. Thinking only to keep her brother safe, she breaks into a hidden house where they can shelter, tend their injuries, and more importantly rest hidden, at least for a little while, thinking they are safe... for now. They are wrong, they have been watched by the wolves since entering their territory. The fact that she has a child with her is the only reason they didn't kill her on the spot. Will the wolves take in the runaways; kill them to protect heir pack, and the snowdancer reputation? Or worse yet, hand them over to the council.
