Author notes: D: Oh my the document manager made this look silly. Uhh whatever.
The entire universe laid out on a black canvas above them.
Planets and stars alike burned in the sky.
The two boys lay in the grass, watching the giants fall.
"There's one!" Roxas said, his out streaked finger pointing into the vast emptiness.
"Make a wish. Quickly now." The older teen, Axel, advised.
Roxas closed his eyes, thought for a second, and gaily looked at Axel for approval.
His look was met with a smile and a kiss.
The grass was cold, and there was a chill in the air. They could have gone in, but Roxas had never seen a meteor shower before.
And why waste so many free wishes?
As the night wore on, Roxas got closer and closer to Axel.
Soon his head on laying no the redheads chest.
"Oh oh, did you see that one? It was huge!" Roxas told his friend excitedly, not realizing he had fallen asleep awhile ago.
The dawn broke, and both teens had fallen asleep in the grass.
The first to wake was Axel, who blinked a few times, then looked at the sleeping blond on his chest.
He was freezing, covered in morning dew, and wishing he hadn't picked shorts today, but seeing Roxas sleep on his chest…
His eyes lightly closed, the wonder of dreams swimming behind them.
His chest falling slowly, steadily.
It made it okay, tolerable.
Maybe even enjoyable.
Axel leaned down, and kissed the lightly damp forehead.
He whispered, "I love you Roxas…" to an unhearing ear.
And smiled.
His wish came true.
