Daughter of Night and Star
Pairing: Stella/Noctis with a bit of Noctis/OC
Warnings/Spoilers: Slightly AU
Author Note: A chaptered piece featuring my OC Luna Fleuret Caelum, but she will make an apperance in a oneshot i'm working on. The next chapter will be a lot longer than this one. For some reason I always imagine prologues to be short. First fanfic as well
Disclaimer: I don't own Final Fantasy Versus XIII
Summary: In a moment of selfishness they decided to have a moment to themselves. Sixteen years later he realizes the consequences of those actions when his daughter Luna comes to visit him with tragic news.
His navy blue eyes widen as he studies the dark haired teenager.
He has to admit she looks a lot like his former lover Stella Fleuret. Only with his looks. Same dark hair and eyes that can change from violet blue to a deadly garnet color.
Dress in simple clothing.
A long white sleeve white shirt with a mid length denim skirt. With knee length white boots. She had obviously inherited her mother's sense of clothing.
Despite the anger present in her ruby eyes. He can tell that she was generally a kind hearted person and protective over her mother.
He silently supposes for the past sixteen years. She only had her mother causing a strong wave of protection to rise within her.
He silently glances at that ring in his hand. Recognizing it as the same ring he had given to Stella the night that they had made love. So many years ago that it almost seems like a distant dream. A dream that he wants to relive again.
Even before she showed him his ring and told him who her mother was. He knows that she was his daughter. It was just a feeling he had.
He silently knows that it causes the council and his current wife great fear as well. Especially his wife Asura who was the most vehement one out of the bunch.
Instantly declaring the girl as a liar and her mother as gold digging whore which instantly cause his anger to rise and threaten the knows he plans of divorcing this woman. Of course he is hardly oblivious the fact of her cheating on him on either.
He had already made his decision in regards to everything. He is going to listen to his daughter without the interference of the council or his wife.
Even though he has a feeling that Luna probably has some strong feelings of resentment to him for not being her father for the past sixteen years, but then again he isn't entirely sure what Stella has told him for the past sixteen years even if she did Luna to him.
His best guest is for protection. Sure Stella was strong, probably one of the best warriors he fought against during previous war, but even they have their limits right.
"Can you tell me why you're here?" he questions noticing his wife leaving in a huff. Her painted face glowing with a bright shade of red probably from anger and embarrassment.
"My mother told me to come and see you," she answers after a moment.
"Is she alright?" he questions.
She instantly shakes her head in a negative matter, "She is dying."
