A/N: My first drabble ever and it turned out really well.. This fits the first scene where Moses is running out of Egypt after killing the guard.
"Moses!"
I could hear him calling to me, the tone in his voice tearing me in two.
I wanted to go back to my brother and stop him from hurting.
I knew I could never go back to him.
Not after I killed a man.
Not after what I said to Father, what I said to Mother.
I would leave forever, never look back.
There was nothing left in Egypt.
There was no home to go to.
Nor a family that would welcome me.
My life as a Prince was over.
"Moses!"
Hot tears filled my eyes.
I ran on.
