He can still remember it. Every second of it.
How hard he had fought to win, how scared he had been because of the prophecy's statement - 'Neither can live while the other survives' and how much he had felt like rejoicing when his opponent's body had fallen, the anger and defeat visible on his pale face. His eyes, as red as they had been when he was alive, were open and stared at him, as though questioning him. He had killed one of the greatest wizards of all time, evil but great.
Each minute that passed then was like another brick of despair to his heart. This monster who had named himself Voldermort had cruelly killed his parents, had forced him to live with the Dursleys and made him wish he'd been dumped on an orphanage doorstep instead and had stopped hi from living a normal first ten years of his life. It was normal to feel angry at him, but guilty over killing him? He could vividly imagine Ron's comments if Ron was capable of Occlumency [which he wasn't] - "Are you bloody well sane Harry? You're guilty over killing You-Know-Who?" "You can say Voldermort now Ron, he's dead." would probably be his retort.
Hermione on the other hand might sympathize with him and try to tell him in her annoyingly know-it-all way that it was perfectly normal feel guilty after killing someone. What was 'perfectly normal' about him - He was the only person to survive the worst of the unforgivable curses, he had lost his parents to one of the most evil of all time, he was a wizard who attended a boarding school for witches and wizards which to Muggles appeared as a dilapidated old construction site...no, there was nothing 'normal' about him.
The guilt gnawed at his heart as a rat would with a piece of cheese. He swore that by the time this day ended, his heart would probably be like swiss cheese.
He remembered Dumbledore's words. Unlike Voldermort, he could love and empthaize. It's about time I added 'the ability to feel shame' to that list Harry thought to himslef. Maybe that's why he was guilty. Because he empathized with Voldermort...because he could see so many similarities between himself and Voldermort? Because they were cut from the same cloth?
Voldemort had been an orphan too. He was raised in an orphanage which was as horrid as living with the Dursleys had been. They were both half-blood and had considered Hogwarts their home.
Dazed at his thoughts, Harry stood up and walked towards his opponents body which nobody had bothered to move away. He knelt next to it and whispered 'I'm sorry' before standing up. He was shocked at his own actions but felt at comfort after doing it. He carefully shut both the red slit-like eyes before walking away from the Great Hall to celebrate his victory.

Pointless, stupid. I know. Please review though. And don't kill me about what Harry did.
