Surrendered. He had surrenders to the inevitable and now he was on his way to an unknown enemy and the betrayal of his country, village, and people. He hung his head in shame as the guards dragged him through the camp toward a small military building where he would be tortured and interrogated. Everything was a blur to him, he did not know where he was, who had captured him or if escape was even possible, it did not matter, he had given in. the guards dragged him inside the small building and down the first hall to the left into the third door on the right and threw him in. He hit his head against the wall hard seeing stars for a few moments until he could clear his head, he looked to the guard still standing at the door, thick material masks covered any features and baggy clothes kept him from even determining if the guard was a male or female this place was different from anywhere he had ever been, these people were not normal couldn't even be human with the ease they had handled him. He was in trouble…
The guard closed the door and walked down the hall its footsteps echoing. He could hear screams beyond his door, and laughter, he figured it was probably a prisoner like himself and that he would be in the same fate soon enough. He sighed resignedly not daring to move in the dark damp place, he took a moment to inspect his surroundings; the prison resembled a dungeon with a large wooden door and cold stone walls. There were a few bales of straw in either corner near the back probably for sleeping and a couple of pails at the far end wall, overall it was roomy, large enough for twenty people with no windows. Closer inspection showed chains on the wall nearest the door, rusty but after moving closer to them he found they had been recently used. The door opened suddenly and he jumped back, wincing as his weight shifted to his injured leg. He watched as the guards dragged a woman into the cell and chained her to the wall, one said something indecipherable and she spat in his face earning a backhanded smack in return. The guard left the room laughing. After he was certain the guards had left the hallway he moved closer to her, her hair covered her face leaving her features unidentifiable and the darkness left all colors as different shades of gray. Slowly he approached closer, caution alone saved him as she kicked out nearly clipping his face.
"Adepto vestri a mihi vos damno miserabilis!" She exclaimed darkly.
He backed further away and stared her in the eye matching her rage with incredibility, slowly her expression softened as she realized he was not a guard and of no threat to her.
"Do you speak Japanese?" he asked her cautiously keeping a fair distance between them. She regarded him for a while before nodding slowly. He smiled uncertainly and leaned back against the wall. He had made up his mind, he would escape, and she might just be able to help him. He returned his attention to her and asked her name more boldly. She looked curiously toward the door before replying.
"Ry'Caligan." She told him "pleasure to make your acquaintance I'm sure." A polite answer if he ever heard one, surprised as he was he didn't even think to make up an alias.
"I am Hatake Kakashi. Nice to meet you as well." They regarded each other carefully for the next few moments until the door opened and the guard entered the room making straight for Kakashi. He didn't put up a struggle; he doubted he would even slow the massive thing. Down the hall they went straight down the hall into the main corridor and turned right straight down and into the second door on the left, Kakashi committed ever turn and room to memory, he would probably need the information later.
