The warm sun. The cool breeze. The colorful plants. And the Pokemon roaming free. This is the Savea Region, and a young, 12 year old girl is about to head off an the adventure of a life time. She will meet friends. She will meet enemies. And most important, she will meet many pokemon. This girl's name is...
"Amber!" A woman's voice cried. "Amber sweetie! Your going to be late for the big day!" In her room, the girl named Amber was asleep. She wore a white t-shirt with a pokeball symbol that stopped at her midriff and blue jean shorts. Her hair was brown and all over her bed. Her skin was tan and around her room were different pokemon memorabilia. Amber's mom slammed open the door "AMBER!"
"AAAH!" The girl screamed, falling out of bed. "Mom what the heck!?"
"Sorry sweetie, but remember what day it is"
"...oh yeah!" She stood up, her eyes shining. "I get my pokemon today!" She smiled bright. Her mom giggled
"Get ready. The professor is waiting" With that she left. Amber brushed her hair and tied it into a pony tail, put on her blue vest, black sandals and black finger less gloves. She brushed her teeth, rushed downstairs and downed a bowl of Poke-O's and ran out the door.
"Bye mom! See you later!"
"Have fun sweetie!" Her mom waved. Amber ran through puddles, scaring away groups of Pidgey and Starly. She runs past Rattata eating some berries as she approaches a large lab with a Mr. Mime out front cleaning. The pokemon looks and sees her, waving
"Mr. Mime!" He calls.
"Hey Mr. Mime. If the professor here?"
"Mime mime" The pokemon nods. Amber smiles and heads inside. An woman in a white labcoat is sitting at a computer. Her hair was black and long. In her hand was a clipboard.
"Professor Redwood!" The girl called. The professor turns. She had blue eyes and glasses.
"Ah. Amber. Welcome" The professor smiled. "I'm just finishing a report. As you know, I'm studying the prehistoric pokemon that use to roam this world. But I won't bore you" She smiles and stands "I know why you're really here. Wait a moment and i'll go get the little cuties." Amber nods as the professor goes over to a glass dome with 3 pokeballs.
'Oh man i can't wait! Should I go fire, water or grass? I guess i'll decide when I see them for myself' Amber thinks, excited to get her lifetime partner.
"Alright. Here they are." Professor Redwood said, throwing the pokeballs and having them release the pokemon inside. The first was a quadruped. It looked like a young triceratops. Its scales were a faded green and its horns were small twigs. Its eyes were bright green as it smiled
"Tribranch!" It called. The next was a serpent. It was small and light blue with a tan underbelly. Its tail had a bubble on its tip and its eyes were parted slightly, but it stuck its tongue out and hissed happily
"Nasplash!" The snake hissed. The last one was a quadruped as well. It resembled an Ox calf. Its fur was a charcoal color and its paws were pitch black. Its snout was also black and its eyes were a bright red. Its tail was short but had a small flame on it. The pokemon sneezed out little embers but smiled as well
"Coalcalf!"
"Oh wow. Their all so cute! I can't pick!" Amber said. The door flew open and young boy walked in the same age as her. He had black hair with red streaks and red eyes, with a scar over his right. He wore a white T-shirt, black vest, black boots with a red trim and torn jeans.
"Ah. Chasen. I assume you're here for your pokemon" Professor Redwood said.
"Yes. Now, may I?"
"Well now wait your turn. Amber was here first and she gets first pick" The professor said. Amber gulped
'This guy gives me the creeps...I better not get on his bad side and pick fast...Tribranch, Nasplash, or Coalcalf?'
