I get frightened in all this darkness
I get nightmares, I hate to sleep alone
Dean gasped awake and looked frantically around the dark room, painful images still flashing through his mind. He swung his legs over the side of his bed and remained seated on the edge, forcing himself to even out his breathing. His damp face dropped into his hands, warm tears falling to his palms.
I need some company, a guardian angel
To keep me warm when the cold winds blow
He let out a deep, shaken sigh. ''Cas?'' He whispered, looking up with tears glistening in his green eyes. ''I need you.. Can you-''
''I'm here Dean.'' A familiar voice said behind him softly. Without saying another word, Castiel pulled him back to the bed and placed his arms around him gently. He pulled Dean towards him and placed the covers over them.
I can feel you breathe

Castiel held him, listening carefully as his breathing became softer, calmer, as his eyelids began to droop. He tenderly ran a hand over Dean's stomach, stopping when he came to his heart. ''I'm right here Dean.'' He said quietly. Dean nodded, knowing that he'd still be there when the daylight came. ''I'm always here..''
