Matt came out to a couple of cheers, unlike his brother Jeff, who got many. They started out angrily. For years they had been partners, now they were enemies. Matt tried to think of a way to demolish Jeff. He kicked Jeff's knee and noticed that it hurt him very much. He smiled evilly and started to kick and kick. As Jeff screamed in pain, all he could think of was how to win the match. Finally, Jeff got up and started beating on Matt. The match was getting fierce, which the referee, Lita, didn't want. As Matt lay hurt on the mat, Jeff went up for a Swanton. He succeed and started to pin Matt. As Lita counted 2, Matt put his foot on the rope. Jeff quickly took it off, and he was declared the winner. Matt raked his hands though his hair. "I had my foot on the rope!" he yelled to Lita. "I didn't see it Matt, so I can't change anything," she cried. Matt didn't want to hear her or the crowd anymore, so he left frustrated. His girlfriend let him down and it hurt him. He felt as if his world was ending.
:: Next night, RAW IS WAR ::
Matt was tying his boots up as his girlfriend Lita apologized. "I'm sorry Matt. I didn't see your foot on the rope," she cried referring to the match at Vengeance. "Please Matt. I love you," she said softly. She knew he wasn't going to speak, so she started to walk to the door. "You love me?" he asked. She turned to him and nodded. "If you loved me, you wouldn't have counted the 3. You would have believed me when I said I had my foot on the rope. You know what, just like the Hardy Boyz, we're breaking up!" he yelled. Her jaw dropped and she was speechless. It was as if a spear went through her heart. He pushed her out meanly and slammed the door. She put her hands on her face and cried. * I've lost him. I've lost him * she repeated in her head. All of a sudden she felt strong arms wrap around her. She looked up and saw Matt's brother Jeff. "What's wrong Lita?" he asked concerned. "Matt. I told him I was sorry and that I love him and he broke up with me!" she cried. Jeff shook his head and hugged Lita tighter. * Damn you Matt * he thought in his head.

Anger rose through his when he saw his ex-girlfriend (who he still loved) with his brother. Jeff ran into the ring and immediately Matt started beating on him. They continually punched eachother until Matt threw his brother out of the ring. "You suck Matt!" one of the fans screamed. Matt's heart stopped and he felt like crying. Just because he wasn't with his brother or Lita anymore, everyone hated him. He got back into the ring and all of a sudden Jeff started beating on him. As they were quarreling, Lita tagged herself in and got on the top rope. As Matt tiredly got up, she jumped on him and did the Hurrincanrana. Cheers filled the arena. She looked at Matt and smiled. "That's for you breaking up with me!" she yelled at the fallen Matt. She then kneeled down next to Jeff and tried to help him up. Matt got up before Jeff thought and pinned Lita. 1-2-3! He got out of the ring as a pissed Lita looked at him. He was upset but at the same time knew he had made a mistake. "I love you Lita," he whispered to himself as she checked on Jeff. As the fans booed, a thought popped into his head. * Break ups hurt *. He then walked up the ramp and knew he had to go on.alone.
