Hermione left the ball still infuriated at Ron. She could not believe that he thought all of that. Did he think she was some daft bimbo? Then she suddenly walked inti a solid form.
She was surprised to see none other than Draco Malfoy standing above her holding out a hand to help her up.
"What are you doing out I thought you would be off snogging Victor Crum somewhere" he said while helping her up. "Does everyone think he is just using me" she said to him in an annoyed tone. Draco looked at her like he had never seen this side to Granger before.
He smirked and said "good for you, you finally relised that you can do better than both those buffoons Weasly and Crum" she looked surprised by his words "well as long as both of our dates have left for the evening shall we go on a walk around the castle"
"Why me"
"Well I never really hated you and no one's around to see us what's the harm and you look absolutely sexy tonight"
So they walked talked about school and the idiot that went by the name Ron Weasly. They came around to an empty classroom, Draco grabbed her arm and stopped her.
"Draco what are you doing" she was surprised she used his given name and even more surprised that he kissed her. It was like something ignited in her and the only thing that could put it out was his lips. He pushed her in to the classroom.
"Draco are you sure"
"I have never been surer in my life"
They went into the classroom and continued to make out. Then they continued to remove their clothing and then…
The next morning she woke up happy and sated. She looked over to see Draco lying there staring at her
"This can't happen again can it" Hermione said
"I'm afraid not" He replied"
"Let's enjoy the morning at least"
He nodded, and they continued to cuddle and hold each other until they had to get up for class. Little did they both know this would lead to so much more when they entered their sixth year at Hogwarts.
