The day after Rory graduate's from Yale she is sitting in the town gazebo in the afternon when Dean is walking in the square and he notices her and smile's and goes over to the gazebo and goes up the stair's
''hey Rory'' Dean says and sit's down next to her
Rory look's up from her book
''Oh Dean Hi wow so your still living here in Stars Hollow?'' Rory asks him
''yea yea I am still living at home and working over at Doose's didn't you just graduate from Yale?'' he asks her
''yea yesterday afternoon'' she tell's him
''that's cool congradulation's so your back home with Lorelai now how was living in a college town for four year's?'' he asks her
''thank's and yea I am and it was great I loved Yale it was a great choice for me'' she tell's him
''so Lorelai must be happy that you are back home'' he says
''yea she is'' Rory tell's him
''hey are you ok?'' he asks her
''yea I'm fine why?'' she asks him
''nothing you just don't seem like yourself'' he says to her
''oh no I'm fine I just miss Logan my now ex boyfriend'' she tell's him
''you mean that blonde rich guy from your grandparent's house?'' he asks her
''that's the one'' she tell's him
''why what happened?'' he asks her
''well he proposed to me the night before last but I had to say no because I just couldn't say yes because I'm still unsure about my future he wanted us to move to Palo Alto California and if I had said yes then my future wouldn't be open anymore
''I'm so sorry Rory'' he sayto her
''that's ok'' she says
Dean put's his hand on her thigh
''come on let's go to Luke's and talk about it'' Dean says
''um well I was kind of suppossed to meet mom thier later to grab a bite to eat but okay'' she says
They get up and walk over to Luke's
