Jackie Summers stared up at the ceiling, tired. Life was so boring.

She turned her head to look at the cell phone on her nightstand as her ringtone went off. She checked to see who it was and frowned. She put it back down and tried to go to sleep.

Just when she was about to finally go into dreamland, footsteps came stomping towards her bedroom door. The door handle shook a little. Then, someone was hammering at the door with her fist, "JACKIE! YOU OPEN THIS DOOR RIGHT NOW OR SO HELP ME I'LL-"

Before the person could finish the sentence, Jackie yawned before saying, "The door's unlocked!"

After a moment of silence, the door slowly slid open to reveal her best friend, Clover.

Clover had a huge stupid grin on her face. "I got some DVD's, and we're gonna watch them right here, right now!"

Jackie stared at her friend and yawned. "I'm...much too busy..."

Clover's grin faded into a frown and there was an evil glint in her eye. Jackie shivered. "Alright, sheesh! I'm coming!" she slowly got out of bed.

Her friend's stupid grin returned. "Let's go!" she grabbed Jackie's hand and pulled her after her as she hurried back out.

The two girls went into the living room. "What movies did you bring?"

"Remember that show we used to watch all the time, growing up?"

"There were a lot of shows we watched..."

"Yeah, but remember that anime, Naruto?"

Jackie's eyes widened. "Yeah? What about it?" she asked.

Naruto had been the first anime she's ever watched; it was also the first time she discovered anime. She remembers showing Clover the show, and Clover became somewhat obsessed with it.

"Well, that's what we're going to watch! Prepare for a nostalgic night!"

Jackie sighed as she went to sit on the sofa while her friend turned on the TV and put the first DVD in.

Her friend then turned, grinning at her, as she ran and jumped onto the cushion next to hers.

"This is so exciting! This'll bring back so many memories!" Clover grinned.

Jackie rolled her eyes then looked at the screen.

Suddenly, there was a loud crack of thunder and a flash of lightning lit up the dark room. Almost immediately, the power went off. "WHAT?!" Clover screamed while Jackie rolled off the couch and started laughing.

Clover stood up and went to shake the TV a little when a huge spark shot out from it and there was a huge explosion.

Smoke filled the room and the two girls started coughing.

Before Jackie passed out, she saw a shadow looming over her.
