brother

To the great Western Wood, King Edmund - so run the words with which the Lion pronounces a traitor king, and it is only later, when he listens to the storytelling of an old Wolf (but not a bad sort of wolf, not her sort) that he thinks he knows their meaning. After all, it is said among the Narnians that Aslan's country lies in the East, and he considers it fitting that his domain is the farthest from it. He tells this to Peter. "Ridiculous, Ed. Remember your geography. If you go far enough West you're going East again."

sister

She watches, always watches her sister from the doorway to the High Place, watches her turn to stone in broken Charn and turn others to stone in frozen Narnia, and when the Lion (who to her is not a Lion, but something greater) is killed by the hand of her own blood, and rises to destroy in turn, she weeps for the condemned – her flesh! But when the Four are crowned, she smiles, for it is sure that none of them knows the Deplorable Word, nor would turn it against their siblings – yet dark-haired Jadis was once called Gentle, too.

king

The Giants are gone. Peter slides off his horse and stumbles in the mud. A Faun whose name he doesn't know steadies him, and he mumbles his thanks before limping towards the healers' tents. Drops of blood form a wavering trail behind him, and his shield arm hangs limp by his side, bones shattered through solid steel by the blow of a club. Oreius trots out to meet him.

"My liege, you are injured."

"Barely a scratch," Peter lies, gasping through the pain. "Casualty report?" He hears the numbers and bows his head. This price is too high to pay.

queen

Swanwhite, star bright, she's the Queen who fought the White…

Lucy laughs gaily as she joins in skipping rope with some young Fauns in the courtyard.

She stood against the Witch's might, how many years?

Despite her shorter legs she seems to be holding her own, which is more than her siblings can do.

one, two, three, four…

Peter smiles as he looks out the window, bandaged arm held tight to his chest. This makes fighting worth it. This is Narnia.

She trips at last, grinning widely.

but in the end she lost the fight and we all fell down.

AN: More 100-word Narnia drabbles! At least they aren't all about Susan this time... please review! :)
