I saw her standing in the center of an incredibly splendid garden. She was wearing an elaborately designed kimono that was immaculately white with sakura decorating it. Her pastel pink locks fell elegantly down her back. She turned to look at me with her expressive emerald eyes that shone with emotion. A smile graced her glossy pink lips.

"Sasuke…"

As she said my name, a chill ran down my spine.

"Sakura…" I whispered. She was dazzling. I unconsciously reached out to her and she walked towards me gracefully.

It all seemed so…perfect.

"why don't we take a walk?" she asked, taking my hand. I complied.

I wanted the moment to last. Sakura and I, in paradise, her hand intertwined with mine. Then, she stopped walking.

She slowly untangled her hand from mine. Her eyes dimmed with sorrow and yet she remained smiling.

She started to sing. Though her voice was as amazing as ever, it brought tears to my eyes. Not because of its sheer beauty, but because of the message it conveyed.

I lost my strength and I fell on my knees, the tears threatening to fall. "Please…I don't want you to leave… don't leave me… I don't want to be alone…" I begged, desperately grasping her hand tightly.

She crouched down in front of me and she wiped my tears away. "Don't cry Sasuke…you'll never be alone… you have Naruto and Kakashi-sensei." she whispered reassuringly.

Then, as if she was only an illusion, she slowly started to fade, slowly disintegrating into diminutive sakura petals.

In desperation, I grasped her hand tightly, never wanting to let go.

"Please…"I begged once more, "stay with me…" I managed to choke those words out despite the tears.

Before she could disappear, she hugged me tightly. Her cold breath tickled my ear as she whispered to me.

"Shhh… don't cry Sasuke…I'll always be with you, in your heart…Goodbye…I love you…"

Her words rang through the atmosphere like chimes.

I was left in the middle of the garden in solitude, on my knees in defeat. The sky seemed to share my sorrow as drops of rain started to fall. I looked upwards and as my tears mixed with the rain; I managed to whisper my final message to her.

"Goodbye Sakura…and I…I…I love you…"

Reality dawned upon me as thunder struck. She was dead. Sakura was dead…And she would not come back.
