Chapter 1: Missing You
This ivory room is slowly
Suffocating me…
But I won't be here much longer.
As the azure glow of daylight fades
Once again, I have to wonder…
Is he really here?
Flashback to the times spent together…
Before the insanity started…
I just have to laugh at something, anything, everything.
That goofy sunset-colored hair,
Those long lanky legs,
His "I don't give a damn" attitude.
The sky a hazy pink color
Fades finally behind the clouds,
It's just another day in the valley of death.
Thoughts contained,
Facial expressions lost,
Still she thinks,
Could he really be here?
…
Another day wasted,
Another day empty,
Another day without her.
Sitting on unknown ground,
Sitting on familiar ground,
Sitting on enemy territory.
Lost in thought,
Of the one person that understands him,
Wondering if she's still alive.
Evil thoughts flee from the mind,
Memories staccato through his head,
And then evaporate into the moonlight.
He's not going to cry,
Crying shows weakness,
Crying shows you have a heart.
Hope looms over him,
It eats away at his heart,
Like flames engulf the moth.
Is she really here?
Waiting for a savior,
Waiting for him?
The night hides everything,
His thoughts,
His facial expressions.
Could she really be here?

Well there you go everyone, my second poem fic ever! I hope you all liked it, I've been really inspired to write poems lately and this one really fit with this pairing. I'm already working on lot's more, and since schools ending soon I'll have more time to write! Expect to see more soon!
