Hey this is my second FanFic (My first one was That First Missionplease read it!). I hope you enjoy and please review and let me know what you think. Constructive Criticism is welcome!

Disclaimer: This is for the whole story. Ally Carter owns all of the characters.

****Also just so everyone knows, I am making a lot of this up because I don't really know too much about the army so a lot of this is made up!

So you know the order of the ranks in this story is

General

Colonel (highest) or Commander

Captain

Lieutenant

Sergeant

Private

Anyway, Enjoy!

So I am just going through and editing this whole story before I begin adding on chapters. I am just making small changes because I am going through and re-reading the story to get an idea about how I want to go on, but can't stop cringing at the things I wrote. Be patient with me :)

Cammie's POV

I took a deep breath and checked to make sure my uniform was great before walking in. I walked in to see my entire group lounging around. There were 20 of them. I rolled my eyes at their laziness. When I was a newbie, I worked hard every minute I could to become the best I could be, but I guess I didn't really get a choice. I pushed open the door and strutted in. I cleared my throat and walked to the front center of the room and eyed every single person. They looked at me for about a minute before recognizing me as someone important and quieting down. They stared at me, and I realized they didn't know who I was exactly; they didn't recognize me as someone important enough to get in attention to. My hair was shorter and dyed black, and the only pictures they've seen are from a couple years ago, so I guess it makes sense. I am one of the six Generals of the Army, General of New Recruits. I am in charge of all training aspects, and easing the recruits into military life. For the first six months after boot camp, the soldiers are considered newbies. I am quite proud of the fact that I was promoted so early on, usually you need around 30 years of experience. Everyone under me in my department must report to me and I could tell they all felt awkward reporting to a 22 year old who had been raised in the army since they were 2 because of her parents, while they are much, much older. Anyways, this was a fresh group out of the boot camps and I just ended my six months with my other group so I thought I would take them on.

"Umm… who are you," one of the girls called out to me. I raised my eyebrow to her and she added a," ma'm?"

"Who do you think I am, Ms. Baxter?" I acted all sassy back. She didn't question the fact that I knew her name just waited with a look of confusion.

"I always make sure to know those under my guidance," I replied anyway. I turned to face everyone, "I am General Cameron Ann Morgan," I announced and everyone automatically straightened up. I saw some looks of surprise. "From now on, I am your commander. You need something you ask me. Rules: Follow My Orders, Work hard, Respect, and no fighting amongst yourself unless practicing. We condition on Mondays and Wednesdays, so when you wake up I expect you to go as a group on the four lap run around the base and report here. Do you all understand," I shout at them.

"Yes, mam," They replied in unison and I nod at them. I scan the sloppy line and stop at one of the young men.

"Ahh, Mr. Goode, I believe in straight uniforms. Drop and give me 100. Then straighten up. That goes for all of you," he had the decency to look embarrassed and quickly dropped down before he got in more trouble. I smirked satisfied and returned my gaze to everyone else.

"Tomorrow, we begin. Get to sleep early and we begin our studies," I then turned around and strutted out satisfied by my first day entrance. This group has potential. I can only hope that they do not get distracted by their modern material things. The newer generations all seem to.

So this is the first chapter. I was basically trying to just give background information and set the bases of what this story is going to be about. Let me know what you think goode/bad etc. :)
