A/N: Hey to my readers! Sorry about my Twilight fanfic, Volturi Princess, but I kinda went off Twilight and completely lost all inspiration and drive to continue that story. Anyways, I'm pretty much only gonna be writing NCIS now, because I've become a little obsessed with it..so hope you enjoy! Just a short oneshot about Gibbs and his thoughts about his team. A tad OOC. Have fun!

Disclaimer: I wish every night that I owned NCIS..but sadly I don't. :(

The bullpen at NCIS seemed normal. To anyone that wasn't Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs, that is. From an outsider, his agents seemed like any others, loyal, hardworking and dedicated. But he knew them. He knew the secrets that they foolishly tried so hard to keep. Take Jimmy Palmer. He and another agent, Michelle Lee, had been in a relationship for months. A clear violation of Rule #12: Never date a co-worker. They really thought that they were doing a good job keeping it from him, but after all, Agent Gibbs made a living on spotting things out of the ordinary and following patterns. Jimmy had tried so hard to scrub Michelle's lipstick off from around his mouth, evident from the red, irritated marks on his face. That and the fact that he had noticed the tiniest smudge of Lee's exact shade on the inside of his collar.

Like McGee and Abby. Both obviously had some sort of feelings for the other, and they had admitted that to themselves, but were too scared to do it to each other. Abby being shy was one thing that he hadn't seen before, but he supposed when it came to things like this, the loudest voice could be muffled by the crowd.

And Ducky, his best friend. He was trying to mask the fact that his mother had passed away. He knew Ducky, he was concealing it because he didn't want to make a scene and disturb Team Gibbs' case-working. But he had seen the sadness buried in his eyes, beneath the unusually happy mood that he had been in lately. The sadness that only comes from knowing that you would never see someone you loved again. The sadness that had been in Tony's eyes when he had thought that Ziva was dead.

Ohhh…Tony and Ziva, the most frustrating case out of all of them. They were both so oblivious of what was right in front of them. They were so in love that he couldn't comprehend how they held their feelings back from each other. It was maddening, watching them play their cat-and-mouse games every day, the secret glances, the teasing and flirting, the way he had noticed how close they would stand and the physical contact between them, the brushing up against an arm, or a knee touching a thigh. Tony, stupid, stupid Tony, had no idea that he was in love with her. Completely unaware. Ziva however, had somewhat worked out the fact that she had deeper feelings for him than she thought she did, but she was confused, and frustrated because Ziva hated not being in control, not knowing exactly what was going on. Both of them, so ignorant of the truth. Gibbs hadn't seen a better fit in a couple since….since Jenny.

He should head-slap them all.

A/N: Did you like it? I won't nag you to review, hahah. I'll be writing more stories soon, so look out for me! xXtegannXx
