His pov
I sit here watching her from across the room. Her eyes a beautiful shade of chocolate brown, so full of knowledge and wonder. Her hair always looks as if it has a mind of its own. Wild and untamable just like her. She's a fiery little thing, always saying what's on her mind and not really caring about what others think. It's becoming increasingly difficult trying to stop watching her. I repeatedly scold myself over and over for it, but it seems like I can't go a day without seeing her at least once.
I know I am far too old for her, old enough to be her father. I'm also a werewolf and I have absolutely nothing to offer her. But I want her. I can understand her, and I appreciate everything about her.
She suddenly bites her lip in concentration. Another book and hand, followed by more lip biting. Her eyes shine brighter in victory as she's finally found what she's been looking for. Bookworm, that's what she is. My brilliant bookworm. Her hunger for knowledge will probably never end. I wish she was mine, but I know that could never happen.
I can't do this anymore, I'm slowly driving myself insane by watching her every moment of everyday. I set my book aside and quickly and quietly leave the library. I need to get away from her for awhile. I need to be able to think straight. But I know it won't be long before I'm back in that library watching her again.
Her pov
I know he's been watching me for awhile now. Whenever I happen to be in the same room as him, his eyes always seek me out. I think I've started to fall in love with him. Every time I catch his eye, I can see the love and longing that resides deep within. I'm afraid though, afraid that he'll reject me with some stupid excuse.
I know that he is much older than me, and he was my teacher once, but I don't care. I love everything about him. His warm personality, and intelligence. His soft golden eyes. His scars make him even more handsome in my opinion, and it's adorable how his hair falls softly across his eyes.
I watch him from the corner of my eye. He seems to be fighting with himself, then he puts his book aside and quietly leaves the room. I sit still for about ten minutes trying to decide what I should do. I quickly put my book down and make my way up to his room.
His door is open a crack and I push it open further. He's pacing back and forth while muttering to himself. I step into the room and quietly close the door behind me. I then gently call out his name.
"Remus" she called quietly. He stopped pacing and turned to face her.
"Hermione, what are you doing here?" she's quiet for a moment and then she speaks.
"I know you've been watching me" he flinches but doesn't say anything.
"It doesn't bother me, what does bother me though is that you won't talk to me about it" he opens his mouth to try and speak but she doesn't let him.
"Remus, I've fallen in love with you. I know there are many excuses you could give, but I really don't care" she pauses for a moment to gather her words.
"I love everything about you and I could care less about money. I love you for who you are. Furry little problem and all" she smiles somewhat shyly at him and waits.
"I love you too Hermione. I can't keep away from you anymore" he quickly steps in front of her and slides his hands through her hair.
"I don't think it would be wise of me to give excuses for us to not be together" she smiles knowingly at him before she speaks.
"Shut up and kiss me Remus"

AN: So that was it. Kinda sappy but not too bad. I needed to get my creativity flowing so I can write for my other stories as well. Anyways, I hope you enjoyed it.
