Lyrics of the Late

Summary: A poem, or a song rather, from the late Albus Dumbledore to his killer.

Disclaimer: I own nought but the words on the page.

A/N: I wrote this without anyone in mind, until a friend suggested that it sounded like something Dumbledore would say to Severus. So flame her. The one thing I did have in mind whilst I was writing this was a tune, might find a way of recording that with someone who actually has musical talent.

Running down the same old road again.

Should you die, should you?

Do you spend all of your time in death?

You can't hide, can you?

I guess you threw out all of the rules.

You're not right, break him.

You can't seem to outlive all the fools,

So you kill, kill them.

None of the other people try to understand,

But I can.

Suppose to go back and return home,

But you won't, can't go.

You read that from the same old tome,

So you fall, let go.

You have to stick out from all the rest,

Just a light, burning.

You just can't live beyond the world lest

You send their heads a turning.

All of the other people try to understand,

But they can't.

A/N: Short, concise and to the point.
